Fantastic rebuild there chap.. Looking at your TW restoration pics has given me some ideas, i have a few wrecked! old Britains models, 2 Ford 5610s!! a Deutz DX110 and a Massey 3680. One of the Fords and the Deutz only requires a replacement cab and a bit of a tidy up. As for the other 2 they are in a bit more of a state but not half as bad as your model was before you restored it. Cheers for that..

Yes UH takes some beating, i have only recently started buying there models and they are impressive. i recently purchased a 1/32 Ford 7810 and it litrally blew my mind, it really makes my old Britains 5610 look very basic. In fact i was so impressed with the 7810 i purchased a 1/32 MF 590 the very next day..

I would like to see UH make a 1/32 Massey 188 and a 1/32 Ford 7600 with a bubble cab, a TW Ford would also be good seller for UH "or Britians for that matter", a late TW 35 would float my boat but an early TW 10 would also if you know what i mean.. As for the big wheelers well i dream of the day when UH or Britains release a 1/32 County, Roadless or Muir Hill i am certain any model would fly off the shelves, i mean who would not buy a UH County 1884, Roadless 118 or a Muir Hill 171??.. While still in the land of hope, it would be a fantastic day when UH or Britains announce there new 1/32 DB 996 and Leyland 282 models.. Possibly more realistic though a 50 or 55 series JD would be nice, my old ERTL JD 3350 looks very tired and basic nowadays compared to some of my newer more detailed models!!..

Judging by the crazy prices on Ebay and the continued new additions being realesed by the model manufactuers i think our hobby will continue to get more interesting, the future looks interesting in my opinion. I have only recently re-started collecting model tractors again and i am so impressed with the numbers of models available, some out of my price range but thart keeps me interested. A hobby is a hobby at the end of the day and we will still collect no matter what else happens..

I am watching a item at the mo, a UH 1/32 Massey 590, buy it now for about 28 quid including P&P, i would not mind one so is it a good price to pay??, can someone give me some advice please??...

A mint "never been out of box" ERTL/Britains John Deere 6410,..

Ebay is crazy the old Britains models go for amazing prices, some do slip through the net though, i want a good Ford 6600 and a Volvo BM and i dont care about a un opened box all lights flashing jobbie that some bid 50 or so quid for.. It is getting harder to find a model that falls in my price range...

Earlier today my younger brother and i was searching through his old toys that he had dumped up in his attic. In the bottom of one box was this little gem.. Apart from a few chips in the paint it is in exellent condition, after a little begging from me he kindly gave it to me on the condition i buy him a pint next time we go out.. I accepted... It will make a nice addition to my collection, apart from this one i dont think i have ever seen a ERTL 956XL..

Looking very good. I grew up around Massey 550s and 590s and i know how different they was, the main heavy work tractor on the farm my father worked on was a grey cabbed 4wd 590 with a opico turbo the driver told me it pushed out 100hp, i did belive him them..ha ha! it sounded lovely whatever it produced!!, though the old mans twin door 550 was the best tractor on the farm.. Cannot wait to see the finished result jdc...

I like to get photos of the tractors i see when i can.. I took these pics yesterday of a pair of old classics that are still at work.. I think the Fiat is a 680, though a bit tatty both the Fiat and Zetor seem to look able to do a days work.. With all the new modern stuff about it is nice to see some working oldies now and again..

At long last i purcahased the may issue today!! Its been a busy few weeks!!!. Yet again brilliant, awesome big Fords and nice to see some Sames, gawd i wonder how much that County will sell for ..

Can anyone remember this magazine??. I remember back in the 80s a work colleage of my Farther gave me a few issues and for weeks i could not put them down. I have purchased a few old 1980s Power Farming issues from ebay but i never see any old Farm Contractor issues. whats happend to them???. Do they turn up for sale anywhere??.

I have a slowly growing collection of brochoures, i dont really go for the rare ones but just the tractors and machinary i like or have a interest in, well i suppose that means everything... Here are some of my lastest.

There are some fantastics models on here... I have only recently re-started collecting again so my collection is small and possibly to some of you chaps a bit boring but i do intend to expand my fleet.. Here are 2 of my latest additions.. I got this off ebay just the other week, can someone tell me the production dates of the Britains TL80, the model and box indicates 1994?. This is currently sort of pride of my collection as i had one when i was a child but it got wrecked and binned years ago, for a while i searched ebay for one and finally last month i got one for a good price.. i intend not to wreck this one..

I recently purchased a Britains Ford 7000 and it is a nice model apart from the lack of steering!! but i really wanted a later Ford 7600 and i still do but i want one with the "proper" bubble cab, is that a bit petty??. Even the old 80s 6600 had in my opinion the wrong cab. I know on the real 600 range the older cab was a cheaper option but i want to be posh, is this possible???. Any help would be fantastic.

I was a little upset that Briatains never made certain tractors during my childhood, I used to think why cannot they make a International or in them days a John Deere also David Browns and Leylands was quite common around these parts then and i prayed that Britains would make one... I had most of there early 80s tractors but i always thought there was gaps, it looks like them gaps are starting to be filled.. Well done Britains...

Thankyou all so much for the warm welcome. I have had a quick look through the forum and it looks just up my street. I will get some photos of my small rag tag collection though its nothing special.. Before i joined FTF i never knew Britains was going to make a County!, i will certainly be purchasing one when they come out.. Thankyou for the DBP models link chaps.. They look stunning, oh how i would love to add a few of them to my collection!!, one day maybe.. Mike will have a field day with me then Mr Ferguson as my spelling is awful...

I frequently gie my 3 year old son a few of my Britains tractors to play with and he has never broken one, though i would not dream about giving him my UH Massey 135!!!.. ha ha!
