  1. Fortunately we are not in lock down in Hong Kong, so I might not be a legitimate entry into the lock down work bench clearing challenge. Hopefully exceptions can be made. I have managed to get the cladding on the Grain dryer, also I added the first coats of paint. Along with this I have final got a coat of paint on the row crops for the Massey 7 series. And I have added the tracks to my Deere 8530 precision that have been sitting in a box for a while.
  2. Every cloud has a silver lining, hopefully many members are able to progress on their projects in the coming weeks.
  3. These are some amazing builds, especially keeping all the angles lined up. On the detailed parts I always manage to stick my fingers together before the plastic, ha, but you seem to have mastered it. Cant wait to see the progress on the Barth.
  4. Little bit more progres today. Added the front vents and finished the stairs system. Also added the chain auger system that links into the grain stores.
  5. Thanks very much, still quite a bit of work to do. Adding cladding and the vents are the next task.
  6. I have made a little more progress on my Chief Grain Dryer. I didn't like my first attempt at the stairs so I rebuilt them. I have also integrated an alternate silo for the wet grain.
  7. Big developments on Lantau Farm's. We have torn down most of the old buildings to make space for a high capacity storage system. We are building two 4000T flat stores each split into 4 bays. We are also adding a new recieving pit, wet grain bin and a Chief Continuous Flow Dryer. We have repurposed some of the old buildings into a new workshop.
  8. I hope the farm has good insurance, as I have a feeling Injury Claims Direct will be sniffing around Bob. Lots of accidents, not his fault, sounds like the perfect no win, no fee case, haha.
  9. That is brilliant. Did Bob ever have accident with his chainsaw as he seems to have one very thin leg, haha.
  10. Is it a surprise that the seller has zero previous sales, haha.
  11. This is amazing, the major manufacturers will most probably try to buy your castings. I have on my build list a Case 4240, as that is what we had on the farm when I was a boy. I was planning on converting a Replicagri International 856, if I can find one for the right price.
  12. Wow that is s huge price, my wife managed to get the one I got for Christmas for about £95. I think I should let her do all my model shopping in the future.
  13. Looks like a great addition to the collection
  14. Giving how difficult it has been to harvest potatoes this year, we were glad to see what Santa left under Lantau Farms tree.
  15. Merry Christmas from Lantau Farms
  16. I have managed to hinge the T7.210 bonnet on the tractor frame. This was a far bigger task than I expected. In the process I managed to damage the cabs front glass, so that will have to be rebuilt. If anyone else has any projects to clear from there workbench this winter, add them to the topic below.
  17. This looks awesome, was the base model for this the Britains Samson Slurry Tanker?
  18. The potato harvest has also started on Lantau Farms.
  19. We also had the big Claas to compare to the Massey Ideal.
  20. Few more photos of the big Cat.
  21. Here are a few snaps from this summer so far on Lantau Farms. We have had a demonstrator as our local Massey dealership have tried to get ahead of the Lexion 8900 coming next year. They brought along an old Challenger 95E with a Perad chaser so we can compare that to our Larrington Ejector Chaser.
  22. I decided to take the leap and turn the JCB into a Knight JCB Forward Control.
