  1. Just to confirm, they charge the seller 15~20% of the sale price. As that seems a massive cost.
  2. looking very good, can't wait to see them finished.
  3. Made a little more progress on the Claydon V Drill. I have added the seed pipe work, sprayed the press wheels grey and painted the tank. It has been near impossible to get paint go match the Sulky colour. All that is needed now is to add the rear steps, inspection platform, add the markers and the tines. I have also started work again on the Larrington Guardian Box Loader. I have built 2 of the 8 box loaders so far. Still along way to go.
  4. Excellent work, loving the field.
  5. Managed to get the paint on the AS Marston Fenlander. As I had some paint left over I decided to convert my UH RPM Low Loader trailer to a Marston Lowloader as they are very similar designs.
  6. Looking good, what did you use to make the concrete?
  7. Nice gathering, I have a couple of Siku 6290's that I bought in 2005 waiting to be converted. The UH deutz TTV 1160 is a great donor model for it.
  8. Thanks for sharing the details of the process, it's great to see how your models come together. Your assembly line would make Henry Ford proud.
  9. Managed to get a bit of paint on the model today, still needs some touching up.
  10. Looking good, will be interesting to see the comparison to the wiking version. I was in the same position with the Ertl John Deere 9570RX, where I detailed it all up and then Wiking released their version. I am now hoping for Wiking to release a 9RX.620, so I don't end up with two of the same model.
  11. Thanks very much. Yes the booms took quite a while to get right, they are nearly there but will need a bit of tweaking. I realised after building all the frame for the booms I forgot to leave space for the central spray nozzles, so that will near a bit of a tweak as well.
  12. I thought I would create a topic for this build rather than adding more to the workbench topic. The model is in the closing stages now, I have built most of the sprayer booms. They are working about as well as I think is possible, I need to add some supports to hold them straight when they are fully opened. I think the supports for the closed booms are too high, so that will have to be modified.
  13. I have had the model on hold as I have been looking for donor booms, as I haven't found any the plan has been to make them. I started that process today, making decent progress. My new problem is making the 180 degree pivot for the 2nd stage of the booms.
  14. hahaha, well I trying to clear projects off my work bench this Christmas so the pressure is building. After these models I have a Larrington Guardian box loader, a JCB Forward Control and a Mini Veg Packer.
  15. Pretty much finished the Claydon Terrabalde now, so I have started on the next Chritmas Project a Marston 14T Fenlander.
  16. I have made a little more progress on the Claydon Terrablade. Just need to add the rams and depth wheels now. I also managed to pick up a damaged Precision John Deere 8530 cheaply. So I decided to chop into the model a little so the Dave Twose half tracks and front wide wheels would fit better than on my original 8530.
  17. Few new arrivals. I have had the Ros Fendt for about 18months, I have just been waiting to get the row crops.
  18. That's some amazing scenery, I do miss traveling around the US countryside. Fingers crossed Covid is over soon and I can get back.
  19. Summer is over so it is finally cooler enough for me to get in my workshop. I have started this winter working on a couple of Claydon projects. I have rebuilt the seed hopper for my 6m Claydon V Drill and I am in the process of building an 8m Claydon Terrabalde.
  20. Do you think we are loosing members to Facebook groups?
  21. It seems quite likely that I will have to move house in the not to distant future, so I have played around with bringing some of my models into my house.
  22. Well mine is a little higher than the real one, as the wheels I have used are much larger.
  23. From shots from the start of harvest this year.
