  1. The model is made by lone star, there are blue, orange, green and yellow versions around also.
  2. Its good that Julian is keen on providing us with the best possible mag for the next issue. I suspect there are many issues to tackle before publishing a mag that we are unaware of so I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt for this issue. Im certainly looking forward to it, and looking forward to possibly developing strong links between the magazine and FTF.
  3. An update to this.. I found a red variation of the crescent fordson dexta at Spalding, appears to be completely genuine.

  6. Hi Andy This model was made in Norway, Tomte toys and they specialised in this sort of toy, Ive seen loads of different vehicles, some of the most scarce are large style motor racing cars.

  8. Interesting thread.....I think 1/16 is suited to UH's range of vintage models, as I would say the majority of this market are people whom used to use these types of vehicles and now like nothing more than to view the large scale model version and reflect on it. I also think that this sort of collector is used to 1/16 being the collecting scale and 1/32 being the toy scale, which has been the case untill UH started producing the excellent 1/32 collectors models. If these vintage models were in 1/32, I feel they would be slightly put off by it, in terms of the loss in visual aesthetics, in other words, you would have to look a lot harder to appreciate the detail on a 1/32 ferguson than you would on a 1/16 model. For more modern collectors, I dont think this applies and you could argue that UH could get best of both worlds if they produced in 1/32. Why they decided on 1/43, I do not know! I think it is level playing field when comparing some 1/32 models to 1/16 vintage models, for example, the Tecnoma sprayer has immense detail and personally I think this is UH's most detailled model yet in all their scales.
  9. Can you add Farm Toys Forum to your links page please.

  13. There was a forestry comission set released, but wasn't aware of any individual Land Rovers. But no reason why it can't be original.
  14. No I was referring to the trailer scott. I know a blue two wheeled model was rereleased but wasnt aware of the one above being readily available.
  15. One of my latest purchases, never seen another one sold so I guess it must be fairly hard to get hold of!
