  1. Whats going on here? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Britains-Autoway-Ford-NO-NAME-Tractor-RARE_W0QQitemZ160055700303QQihZ006QQcategoryZ117196QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  2. Returned home this morning, to find my F&S....not there. Im a patient man, but should it have turned up by now?
  3. Extremely nice looking models! It appears they are really going head to head with RC2 for 2007
  4. I too, will get in touch with Julian and invite him to speak on the forum, even if it's a Q&A session posted. As for the more heated comments way back down this post.... PDH, from my personal judgement, I saw no malicious intent from FP's reply to you posting Julians mobile number, he was just acting on precautionary instinct, not knowing that this number was freely available on the web. It was extremely good of you to provide concerned members of F&S, an easy route to contacting Julian, and with the number being made freely available, this was a perfectly feasible action. I see this disagreement as just an unfortunate misunderstanding, with lessons learned I hope. For everybody's future reference, if posting a mobile number that is openly available on another website, I recommend that you quote the source. This prevents any misunderstanding or privacy infringements on FTF's part. I will make this ammendement to the FTF Terms and Conditions Page. In all other cases, submitting mobile numbers or any other personal details, shall be only under the strict permission of the individual whom details are being submitted, and again, please reference this as it avoids future misunderstandings. Hopefully this is case closed. Regards Andy
  5. Can anyone update us on this? I was told yesterday would be the day, as I am not at home, I cant check!
  6. The valmets are rare, but 7000 were released of each colour. I think there were approximately 3000 fiat hesstons produced. I know recently, the Britains archive book was sold at auction, it contained production numbers of every model produced from the start of production to around 1980. I will endevour to find out who won the item and see if we can get some information from that.
  7. You would struggle to pick one up now for less than ?300
  8. On FTF's "to do" list for 2007, it is being considered that we charter a bus to zwolle for next november. From preliminary planning so far, we have the possiblity of having 3-4 pick up points in the east midlands and east anglia area before heading to the ferry terminal and on to Holland. It would be a 2 day trip. Only very early stages of planning so more info will be disclosed at a later date.
  9. The rarest model to date I think is the John Deere gold plated 8330T for agritechnica with approx 115 models produced...soon to be beaten however
  10. The model is made by lone star, there are blue, orange, green and yellow versions around also.
  11. Its good that Julian is keen on providing us with the best possible mag for the next issue. I suspect there are many issues to tackle before publishing a mag that we are unaware of so I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt for this issue. Im certainly looking forward to it, and looking forward to possibly developing strong links between the magazine and FTF.
  12. An update to this.. I found a red variation of the crescent fordson dexta at Spalding, appears to be completely genuine.

  15. Hi Andy This model was made in Norway, Tomte toys and they specialised in this sort of toy, Ive seen loads of different vehicles, some of the most scarce are large style motor racing cars.

    Claas 2007

    Some nice equipment here http://app.claas.com/pressen/en/start/anfang.php
  17. Interesting thread.....I think 1/16 is suited to UH's range of vintage models, as I would say the majority of this market are people whom used to use these types of vehicles and now like nothing more than to view the large scale model version and reflect on it. I also think that this sort of collector is used to 1/16 being the collecting scale and 1/32 being the toy scale, which has been the case untill UH started producing the excellent 1/32 collectors models. If these vintage models were in 1/32, I feel they would be slightly put off by it, in terms of the loss in visual aesthetics, in other words, you would have to look a lot harder to appreciate the detail on a 1/32 ferguson than you would on a 1/16 model. For more modern collectors, I dont think this applies and you could argue that UH could get best of both worlds if they produced in 1/32. Why they decided on 1/43, I do not know! I think it is level playing field when comparing some 1/32 models to 1/16 vintage models, for example, the Tecnoma sprayer has immense detail and personally I think this is UH's most detailled model yet in all their scales.
  18. Can you add Farm Toys Forum to your links page please.
