  1. Had a couple of load of third-cut silage to lead back for a chap, the 7050 is a bit of an animal!
  2. Thank you Smithy, the Case lorry seems to be very popular, especially with us Nash men!
  3. Thank you Paul, I have a small collection of about 30 or so 1/16 tractors, combines and implements, mainly Ertl international, John Deere and the odd Massey that I used to play with as a child that I will photograph when I get a chance, I know you are quite fond of 1/16 models !
  4. Thank you Justin, yes, I was brought up with Internationals and later Case IH's so they have always been my favored marque, it was the purchase of our first John Deere that sort of got me into the green machines and now model-wise it is a close call between the two. Mind, I learned to drive on a Dexta and have many happy memories driving a 4610 with the rubic cube gearbox as a lad, so I do quite like the blue corner as well, must get round to photographing them too !
  5. It was Peter Hardy, aka Convo
  6. Thank you Chris, looking forward to seeing your collection again, I seem to remember some very nice models in there
  7. Thank you Paul, lots more to come as I get time !
  8. Hello all, thank you for all your kind comments, I thought as it was a wet morning(understatement!) I would delve into my cupboard and try and get a few photo's. A lot of the stuff I haven't seen for months so it was nice to let it see the light of day! I will try and get more photos taken as I get time, but I hope you have enjoyed looking at them as much as I did !
  9. and some of my faves, Deere and Case IH !
  10. Thought it was about time I got some photos of my collection. First up some Ertl Precision :
  11. I have to say I was far from calm, couldn't concentrate on what I was doing for watching the rain showers heading down the valley and looking for the baler and rake coming up the valley!! To say that stress levels were building rapidly would be an understatement! I know what you mean about telescopics, I often use a Loadall for wrapping and stacking bales and for that job they are perfect, but not so handy for working in tight yards or buildings
  12. I know exactly what you mean Sean, that's why mine lives under the stairs
  13. Sorry, must have been a typing error
  14. Was one of them Graham Robson's Martin, I saw it going up the Moor road on his trailer while I was patiently and calmly watching for the arrival of Leslie's Fusion this morning!
  15. I know what you mean, for all International and John Deere are closest to my heart, like you I still collect many other brands, I suppose it's just what takes your fancy really. I will admit that I do have a soft spot for Fords from the classic era, but I try to keep that quiet!
  16. that's a useful bin, and a useful manitou as well, bet that was interesting going down the road mind ! It's chucking it down here now, but every cloud....
  17. Very, very nice. I still like the green and the red very much, but I suppose the blue isn't bad either
  18. Managed to dodge the showers and got it wrapped up just as the weather broke. Sometimes you are just lucky !
  19. Well, knocked some second-cut down on Sunday, fingers crossed we miss the worst of the showers !
  20. I like that green cupboard very much!
  21. A lot of it comes down to nostalgia for the tractors that were new when we were younger I think. A couple of years ago I spent a morning leading topsoil with a Ford 7810, it was great fun to start with but by dinner time it was starting to loose its appeal a little. Due to problems with its trailer I then spent the next day and a half leading with a New Holland 7050 and I have to admit that even after a long day you got out and didn't feel tired. I still prefer the older kit, but just for shorter blasts!
  22. I don't need any excuses !!!
