  1. As you're finished Will be a good chap and come and help me :D
  2. If anyone wants any of the Halfords Isopon type mesh come and see me at Spalding as I have found somewhere local that does it at a lower price than Halfords charge for it so will have some with me
  3. Patience is a virtue guys :D I have finally got round to casting the topper so that I have at least one for display at Spalding so here are some pictures of the finished item
  4. It's going to be spring barley, it was winter oats but the rabbits caused total devastation to the 3 fields over the winter so they were subsoiled and now cultivated. The cultivating was done to allow the air into the ground to dry it out, it may not look like it but in other areas of the fields it was so wet that I came very close to needing pulling out, just adds to the fun
  5. It wasn't too bad Stephen, not as nice as the Atles though. Spent several hours on a tweaked 8870 in the past as well, my only real criticism of them is that the range changes are in the wrong place for draft work \
  6. Been cultivating with a Claas 936 and trying not too get stuck, it wasn't as dry as it looked in the pictures I've posted up :D
  7. Spotted this old Case over the hedge as well All taken with my phone so you'll have to excuse the quality
  8. Nice and simple inside, powershift gears and hand throttle on one lever, 5 spools so one lever does two of them. A post display, small number at the top is reverse gear selected, big number forward gear (swap round if you are in reverse), the other small number is the gear selected by the headland management system. Bottom of the display shows that auto 4wd and diff-lock are in
  9. Been cultivating for a mate of mine today with his Claas Atles 936 (260hp) on a 6m Wil-Rich cultivator, bit of overkill but hats the only tractor available, his 2 Quadtrack's were busy as is the Claas 836. Nice tractor to drive, looks enormous when you stand next to it and the same sitting behind the wheel.
  10. Had Marky here to see me earlier today and just in from taking my mates Claas 836 and 4m power harrow to Mildenhall from near Dereham, also got the offer of some cultivating tomorrow on his Atles
  11. Pics as soon as I get the camera charged up. Yeah, got the Discovery here so you can come by car now, it came from Fenstanton near you anyway

Before posting a new topic on something can you please see if one already exists on the same subject Joseph, the search function is there for that reason. http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=18862.0
  13. Its still a problem though Blake as postage prices to that part of the world from here are sometimes as much as the goods are worth, probably the same in reverse as well, so the UK stockist would have to put the price up to compensate
  14. This is the clear stuff that I use for my Decals, all done with an inkjet printer. You don't need to fix the printing with laquer on this either unless you are intending to use them outside or using a laser printer. All his paper is self adhesive so saves the hassle of waterslide http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130208572922&ssPageName=MERC_VIC_ReBay_Pr4_PcY_BIN_IT&refitem=140213904138&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=closed_view_item&usedrule1=CategoryProximity&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget&_trksid=p284.m183&_trkparms=its%3DS%252BI
  15. Uh oh this is scarey, we're thinking along the same lines now :D
  16. They sound good Nick, one small thing though, how much would they weigh with regards to posting them to people over here as that may limit your market somewhat if its too costly, well initial price too for that matter \
  17. Hi Roger, welcome to FTF, hope that you enjoy your time on here and if you need any help at anytime feel free to ask one of us.
  18. I hate to agree with the penguiny one above but I wouldn't entertain a Perkins engine anymore, we had a McCormick MC135 with one in where I was working last year and it was completely gutless, on transport you were forever up and down the gears, it wouldn't handle the 4m power harrow at all in 1000rpm PTO speed, the NH TS135A was running rings around it all the time. If I had the choice I'd go for the SISU 4 pot motor over it, they have a very good rating here with no major problems to speak of
  19. Last day on the oil job today, had to deliver to Milton Keynes and Great Billing Sewage Treatment works then to a commercial vehicle garage back here in Norfolk, dreadful driving conditions on the A11, A14 and M1 due to the weather For those who want to see photographic evidence of Tris's tight squeeze today, here you go
  20. Thought I might be getting fairly close to your home ground there first time I've actually had to deliver into Ipswich in the 4 months I've been there, the other chap usually lands that run. Was actually for Prentice Aircraft and Cars in their yard, was absolutely persisting at the time so couldn't look about too much at the kit there
  21. Delivering oil again, Suffolk this time around and in Ipswich (Fork-Rent) and then down to Maldon in Essex before coming back to base via Sudbury.....Local ones in Norfolk tomorrow so a nice easy day I hope
