  1. I think Frankie will be relieved that she hasn't got to carry that damn great baler around anymore :D
  2. I would imagine thats what the problem is, i either paint outside on a hot sunny day or in a shed with a heater on if its cold/damp. Just give them another coat and keep them in a warm environment to dry and they should be fine
  3. Where are you painting as cold/dampness in the air will cause paint to do what you are describing?
  4. I thought it was the early 80's, can remember seeing it in a catalogue with most of your other items there
  5. What about the Kverneland plough Paul? Nice collection there though
  6. Our neighbour managed to get combining again today so I've baled my first straw of the season, seems to be a lot of it as well. Neighbours combine is a 2001 Lexion 440 which is shared with another local farmer who owns the Claas Ares 836 and trailer in the pictures. If all goes to plan the straw should be going to Bernard Matthews for the turkey huts.
  7. Front and back tyres are down on it Simon, would only be used for carting and drilling though, no heavy draft work unless mine goes down
  8. Nope, was near Kings Lynn in Norfolk
  9. Not that one no, as slightly out of budget and wouldn't budge enough on price so found another one in just as good condition only with front linkage and PTO along with creeper gears for less money
  10. Its also happened to me with this dealer, in my case meaning my own customers having to wait longer for conversions. I know of two or three other people as well
  11. I never said it wasn't a John Deere, just that it wasn't all green as it had yellow wheels :D Its a 6910 so big sister to our existing 6810
  12. Been to a company up near Spilsby to look at a tractor with the boss today, looking like we may commit to this one
  13. Neighbour started today and saw two NH CR's cutting as well locally
  14. The weather! Neighbour started combining today and I was supposed to bale it up when I got back from Lincs, torrential thunderstorm beat me back though
  15. Wheat still looks like that in most places at the minute Neil, not just in your area
  16. All I know is its been meticulously maintained and has a good service history, boss is currently checking all this out with the local dealer there.
  17. I have indeed Tris, might be going to look at it either tomorrow or early next week as he is busy spraying at the minute. Its a 2001 6910 with 6000hrs on it in absolutely mint condition as you can see from the pics just haggling on the price at the minute as its slightly over the budget
  18. Been trawling dealers websites looking for John Deere 68/6910's, think I may have found the right one now, just need to talk to the boss about it tomorrow
  19. No way, that then leaves us with a big problem trying to foster the damned things or hand feeding them, along with a large bill for carcass disposal, you can bet its always the best cow that dies as well with a few more breeding years in her yet. We did lose one cow this spring along with both her calves, they were big'uns too, 3rd year in a row she'd had twins!
  20. Heres a few pictures from Cambride Machinery Sale this week Couple of general ones of the tractors Nice line up of 6610's, V reg one struggled to £11600 2002 6810 Autopower that made £12000
  21. Heres a few pictures of the Commander and the Amazone together
  22. The UH Amazone does put the Hardi into the shadows being the far more detailed of the two, I have both here so will get you some pictures in a little while
