  1. They won't be everybody's cup of tea but it's nice to see something a bit different in a collection
  2. Your fairly taking a liking to them big artics David
  3. The fact that if i'd have known that our Freelander would have passed it's MOT without anything spending on it, i'd have had a bid on that 16th scale Mcconnel Hedger on Ebay before the auction ended
  4. The fact that our 15 year old Freelander passed it's MOT yesterday without any advisory notes or much done to it before it went Winner
  5. Thanks for sharing David, again great photo's, i haven't been to this show yet, will have to one of these times me thinks
  6. Hahaha Martin.. yep indeed a nice bit of work to be had by someone, Although it would need to go on a tractor with an uprated or diecast linkage, UH tractor linkages would kak itself if you hung this on it.... this one is one of Andy's first run of hedgers as he moved on to the PA650 from these, and this first run had to be ordered through Mconnell themselves rather than Andy direct
  7. Not what you were thinking Mark.... this one involves the center of gravity on a truck chassis versus axle loadings..... but hey ho.... the designers downfall is my gain with extra O.T. to get it put right
  8. A draughtsman/designer that doesn't know the difference between 8.5 cm.... and 8.5 inches.....
  9. Hell, Martin.... that's some fancy workbench you got there..... Its almost the shape of a Defender wing and Bonnet hahaha Look forward to seeing more of your Hedger conversion
  10. Nice rig Martin, you be keeping your fingers crossed for a bit of 32nd frosty weather to get out on the land and get a few load spread
  11. Good to see Bob still up to his old tricks Always good seeing an update Brendan
  12. It were warm enough in the 3M sponsored flexi-cab (yellow Jacket) It weren't as cold as I thought it were going to be John, the coldest part of the trip seemed to be along the backridge road between Waddington and Bashall Barn, but rest weren't that bad
  13. Managed to get her out for a run again yesterday, and took in a 25 mile circular route around the Valley, if you look closely behind the steering wheel and pre-cleaner in the distance you can just make out the outline of Pendle Hill in the mist and fog (sorry about the quality of the pic, I did set off with my camera for better photos but never checked the battery before setting off ) I appear to have an issue with the right hand sidelight and taillight so next trip to the shed will see that looked at, must just be a bad connection in the lamp as a blown bulb wouldn't cause the taillight to go out..... other than that she's all good
  14. Having caravan about might be handy.... unless someone gets jealous..
  15. How's Bob?? Is he still up to his usual tricks?
  16. Cheers Smithy, She might not be pristine but she's tidy enough Have to admit that I'd been neglecting her at the back end of last year so one of my New Year Resolutions was to get out on her more rather than her being just sat in the shed
  17. Had her out again on Sunday for a few miles and burn abit more diesel after the mist and fog started to lift out of the Valley Was rather surprised as though there wasn't much drying it wasn't as damp as first expected. Spotted a like minded bloke out for a run Fergy, could have been a 165 heading back toward town. New Agriline parts catalogue dropped through the door on Monday too, though not looked at it yet......
  18. Cheers Cyril, thanks for keep posting up your photo's Some nice bits and pieces in those set of pics, noticed the Fiat on duals and FH360 digger on wide tracks.... something a bit different like they off for a day cutting turf
  19. No I don't do facebook Cyril, though posted links to facebook usually allow me to view.....
  20. Got chance to get her out for a run for a couple of hours on New Years Eve morning Was a fairly enjoyable 20-odd mile tour of the Valley just takes a bit of getting used to being over taken by Bradley Wiggins wannabe's hahaha.... to be fair it was only the odd cyclist that thought they were faster than her.... but she got her own back on the hills Called in at the enterance to our local showfield for the pic, The way time is moving on, it'll soon be time to bring her back here in May for the show...... No Major issues or problems to report, She's running well
