  1. Latest addition to the collection appeared in a well packed box.... via Royal Mail this week A Parmiter swing round, rope driven post knocker by Andy at Classic, features working turnbuckle adjustment of the mast, opening post clamp and moveable hammer and driver arm, finished in Parmiter orange, Andy also does a chain driven version finished in Parmiter blue, the more popular of the two versions that he builds, so maybe a blue one will appear in the fleet sometime in the future......
  2. It must have had steady life then smithy after all these years..... local contractor got a brand new West 14 tonner the other year and don't think there were much paint left on the floor after 2 seasons.....unless they used better paint in the 60's
  3. Interesting yard you've been in there Smithy ..... That Weeks trailer has the earlier style decal on it from the 60's..... so has a good bit of age about it and still in fairly good shape
  4. Be some outfit that James nice work on the trailers by the way
  5. That 4/65 Nuffield a bit of something different Smithy.... noticed it got the early Nuffield sliding hubs on the back axle..... famous for knocking gateposts
  6. I'll be one of a few to own a bit of your work too bud
  7. That sounding very much like Ashworths 2nd team there James.... they acquired a half dozen Bailey's and about the same in NH's over the past 18 months, but still retain a half handful of their older trailers..... In between the showers they have mopped up the 2nd cut at Withgill this last week, and used to do a farm over near Littleborough somewhere
  8. Nice trailers there Mark, Great to see you posting some of your work up again plus nice to see another brand of trailer being built, and if they owt like your Fraser's, Marshall's and that silver and blue classic Kane that you built they'll be a cracking bit of kit
  9. Somebody's spent a quid or two on Britain's potato boxes.....
  10. Grand job Damian that backactor looks different attached to the 3c than when I see it last and it was an on going project I'm sure David (DM434) will agree with me that you need a 32nd scale "Dodgy" at the side of it wetting himself
  11. Defininatley not cheating James..... you still have to program the laser even though you don't physically cut it a few folk at work could learn from that like our draughtsman at work who will send parts off to be lazer cut to get them back and they don't fit..... where as give me a tape, a square and a bit o french chalk and a few minutes on the ironworker and I cut my own that will fit first time.... Like the look of this Volvo by the way
  12. Cheers Chris, I sure there be a few more models to come too Though all credit for them has to go to Andy, as doing the job that I do I understand bending tolerances, forming, machining, fitting and to some degree pattern making and casting, but some of the things Andy achieves in 16th scale.... we'd struggle to do full size on our machines at work.
  13. A little update to the collection after the postman delivered a rather small but well packed box this week off Andy at Classic ..... First up a linkage mounted Browns silage feed pusher...... .... Along with a second set of ZigZag harrows, this time a 2 section set with different tines to the existing 3 section set, but again no OEM....... ..... And lastly a second set of Parmiter Force 8 discs, this set having all scalloped discs and the heavy bolted on drawbar for building up the tillage train behind the 974 when not on forager duty
