  1. Finally got round to posting up some pics of the development of Home Farm & Agri contracts, ( my mums own display) taken at various shows (due to the fact it isn't set up that often at home) as the display expanded over the last few years, and will post up future developments The Buildings and scenic materials are all model railway by Hornby and Javis, and the models are a mixture, there are further idea's in the pipeline as time allows.
  2. I think the only thing missing this year were a few more "Custom" items for sale on traders tables, Maybe because of Spalding the week before but this year seemed to have a lack, No dis-respect to Ken, Martyn, PDC, 3 Oaks or Keith Paice, or George or Graham, as they all had quality "Custom" model builds on their tables. Just from previous years shows there seems to be less on sale this year and more of the general release / obsolete stock
  3. The 1455 in the Pictures in various mags do look good, I'm hoping to be able to get my hands on one, to add to the 1/16th collection
  4. Mmm that interesting, as information regarding the 1455 leads to a delivery date early 2013. Wonder if they for dealerships?
  5. Thanks Graham......... My Display might have been Blue, but your Leyland tractor & Weeks trailer combo does it for me Your Display was fantastic with so many hidden details that leads you to the next..... only problem was remembering everything...........Is that a sign of old age?
  6. 20 mins away from us in the Valley, will probably be calling in at some point during the day with Andy (FTF Bulkerman) so will try and grab a few pics too
  7. Industrial Triple "D" as featured in Stuart Gibbards book "The Doe Story" And a Doe in barn find condition as weathered up by Dan Higgins

  11. I think John built the cage wheels himself when i was talking to him on sunday, but Dave Towse of TowseTrading used to do them to sell.
  12. Thats always the case Tris, somebody always beats you to the rare stuff!!
  13. Aye we didn't do too bad getting back up north Barry, 5 and a half hours with a delay at Stafford and a quick toilet stop in Cheshire. Your journey home a bit bad was it??

  16. Got back about 9.45 last night..... Didn't have a bad trip until getting into delays on M6 in Staffordshire. Was great to see some of the familar faces and some new ones too, Always good to have a catch up with Barry, Sean, Tris, Mandy and Fraser...... even a bit of HLT nostalgia too Some great displays from simple 18" square boards to 24ft x 4ft diorama and the added bonus of alot of junior entries that good to see the next generation keeping our hobby alive and well for the future. Thanks must go to Jonathan and his wife for supplying a cracking bit of cake and also to Graham and Sharon for the donation of another tool/butty box Looking forward to next years show already! Hope to have the Kitchen finished by then Tris too!
