  1. SHOW NEWS UPDATE, Table numbers have increased again due to us accepting a couple of last minute tradestands, pushing the numbers just over the 160 mark. This sounds like a good few tables but its not about us having a massive show, we just want to raise some money for two worthwhile causes, whilst having a good time and enjoying a show like my late dad used too.
  2. You and Andy aren't that far behind us with your table numbers Bill, and i wish you all the best too. Both me and Mum both said we'd like to come up with displays next year ( thats if you'll have us!!)
  3. You'll have to wait for a bit to bid on the cake Harold, Mum not worked out yet exactly what cake it will be yet Although you can put money on that it'll be a good 'un!
  4. I'd have come up to Aberdeen this year Bill, but with a hectic weekend the weekend before and long hours at work i'd be knackered before i even set off There not far off 160 tables at dads show so we just got too keep our fingers crossed that the public turn up. If your having a show next year then please send me 2 forms cos we fancy coming up from the valley and putting a couple of displays on
  5. That great work Graham, Seeing your layout grow is a first for me, cos we only ever used to see your work when we came down to Toytrac. I'm looking forward to seeing your next update
  6. i know what you mean there Bill, once its been repaired it'll never be truly original no matter how good or who does the repair!
  7. So is that a mistake on BFA's part or is that accidental damage to the tractor? Mmmmm I bet Bill knows
  8. It just seemed a bit strange not seeing an exhaust! Ha Ha Ha!
  9. Cheers Lads thats very kind of you I've got another couple of ideas for conversions using 1/16th UH tractors and comments like you've posted are making me think i should get on with them
  10. Hi again Bill, there some good machines at some fairly good prices, it a good job i didn't attend, the bank manager wouldn't have been a happy man, and then there be the hire of an haulier to get the tractors home! Thanks for sharing though, its always good to see the results of an interesting sale In answer to your spot the mistake..... is it that there no exhaust on the e27n in the photo?
  11. Looking at the general condition from your pics Bill, i'd have said it was about its money, it could have come down to Lancashire at that price
  12. Thanks for the comments lads, i'm glad you like it. Its taken a while to start getting some of my work posted up but i appreciate the feed back :)
  13. Here's a few pics of my 1/16th Ford 4000 Conversion, built for Lanark 2011, Its based on a UH 1968 Ford Force 5000, that has been cut and shut down to 3 cylinders, then the bonnet shortened down to suit, a cab and floor pan were dropped in place after being donated very kindly by a broken in transit UH Ford 7000, and then the rear wheel centres taken out of the original 5000 wheels and dropped into a pair of Fordson Power major rears, finally new decals and a bit of paint here and there to touch things up and it was declared ready for the table Hope you guys like it
  14. Cheers Tris, actually it an old build from about 5 years ago but i never got it finished until now, i guess building the log splitter inspired me to get it finished off
  15. Here another workshop conversion of an old Dennings pulley driven saw bench, busy with the spanners this time, the old pulley and shaft drive scrapped and replaced with a more modern pto drive through 2 pulleys an a trio of vee belts, and the addition of linkage mounted to make moving around the wood alot more easier , It built out of plastruct again with a Wolfcraft mini saw blade (old stock from Hobbycraft) for the blade , All we need now is a pto shaft and we're in buisness!!
  16. Cheers Bill, that be grand, it's a bit wet down here too, Typical bank holiday weather or the norm as the case may be...... at times its that damp down here that even the pigeons have webbed feet!!
  17. Mmmmm That Nuffield 10/60 be a welcome mate to the DM4, i wonder if UH make a Bray using the 10/60 as a base?
  18. Looks quite a sale there Bill, and quite a few interesting bits and peices up for grabs, one that caught my eye in particular interest was the Bray 4/65 sales brochure, as the Bray brochures for the 10/60, 4/65 and 384 still missing from my collection. Though it looks like it was the place to be if you were looking for any BFA And by the looks of it Grahams kept hold of his Classic Combines Models! Some of the outside lots don't seem bad, but can't wait for your results and pics of Grahams tractors  Thanks for Posting these up Bill, it appreciated
  19. No probs Erik, I've had the figures for 3 or 4 years now but i belieive that they are still in production.
  20. Looks great Sjonnie, after seeing your last two conversions i'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your future projects
  21. No probs there Bill, looks as though there was a good entry of fergy implements for those who like to adorn their sheds with a shade of grey
  22. Cheers Tris, the major built out of my scrap box..... there a few 1/16th UH been broken up for projects in the past and it seem a shame to waste 'em. There a couple of other projects on the back burner at the momment but i'll get round to them..... eventually
