John Deere 4020 with Hinkler cab - does anyone know if this was limited production because I don't seem to see it all that often. Also noticed that the new 9330 prestige is labelled as 1/16 scale on the box I must admit, I can't see where the extra money is justified.......

Cheers Tris - yes mighty good find - in a JD dealer too!! Seems it had been on a shelf for ages then they had a move around and found it..... One to definately hold on to me thinks! And yes am impressed - it certainly weighs a lot! Had been opened but all the plastic is still on the wheels etc. so all in all well chuffed!

Don't have a 1968 but the 1969 one has a separate one sheet double sided price list. I love looking at these old catalogues! The Ford 5000 with Shawnee poole dump trailer is listed as 17/6 - I don't know me old money but in todays terms that aint a lot me thinks!!

Thurlow Nunn Standen in Littleport had one when I was in there a couple of weeks ago

The dualed version is only limited in the brushed silver version - of which there seem to be loads still for sale (circa £24). The normal McCormick coloured version came out at the beginning of UH producing McCormicks limited to dealers and their packaging. There was a fault with the front axles not being strong enough UH boxed ones didnt come out until the problem was fixed. So they are currently available in both types of box. I wouldn't be paying much more the £12 for a UH packed one - a little more for the dealer box, both obviously brand new.

Hi Andy and welcome. You can use various methods but the two I would suggest would either be the classifieds on here or Ebay. I am sure if you detailed them there would be takers for a job lot (me included). However you may achieve more for your collection if you split it up. You can also use the personal message thingy on the forum also to 'negociate' once you have an interested party! Hope this helps, Andy
