  7. A man was walking along the beach and found a bottle. He looked around and didn't see anyone so he opened the bottle. A genie appeared and thanked the man for letting him out. The genie said, "I am so grateful to get out of that bottle that I will grant you one wish. I can only grant one." The man thought for a while and finally said, "I have always wanted to go to Hawaii. I've never been able to go because I cannot fly. Airplanes are much too frightening for me. On a boat, I see all that water and I become very claustrophobic. So I wish for a road to be built from here to Hawaii. The genie thought for a few minutes and finally said, "No, I don't think I can do that. Just think of all the work involved. Consider all the piling needed to hold up a highway and how deep they would have to go to reach the bottom of the ocean. Imagine all the pavement needed. No, that is just too much to ask." The man thought for a few minutes and then told the genie, "There is one other thing I have always wanted. I would like to be able to understand women. What makes them laugh and cry, why are they temperamental, why are they so difficult to get along with. Basically, what makes them tick." The genie considered for a few minutes and said, "So, do you want two lanes or four?"
  8. The pick up hitch was fine for a 3T weeks trailer; the number of accidents that have occoured through worn hooks and rings are legion, and as Tris says the system is unsafe with modern loads and trailers. The Dromone is jus a variant of the original Scharmuller K80 ball hitch which is becoming the standards across Europe. A few contractors are funning big bale outfits with ball jitches - smoother less wear and tear, It is the way forward. http://www.scharmueller.at/index.php?id=26

  12. 99% certain it is the latest version or a variant of a Halliburton workover rig. Workover rigs are lighter than dill rigs and are used for servicing and maintaining existing wells, hence are lighter and have a degree of portability. http://www.halliburton.com/ps/Default.aspx?navid=123&pageid=1232&folderid=MSE%3a%3a1045229747050391&prodid=PRN%3a%3aIXCZ7O4VY (Worked with Dow Schlumberger during my time offshore who are Halliburton's main competitors...)

Would beg to differ, the oil majors are already rolling hydrogen corridors to establish areas of supply. http://www.newenergyfocus.com/do/ecco/view_item?listid=1&listcatid=32&listitemid=3575 Also, the Hydrogen as launched is a proof of concept exercise; by the time of launch CNH believe that they will get a power density that will allow 6 hours operation. Also, the unit will be marketed as a complete on farm unit where the energy and hydrogen is generated on farm from biomass or slurry. Whilts not a front line machine it will be aimed at the mixed / livestock sector and it is just the beginning. Internal combustion has had 100 years of development, this is something for the 21st century. CNH are already working on test units for the concept of energy independant farms. All energy used on the farm comes from the farm.
