Better than summer floods though I suppose Never mind Summer Floods winter ones are worse - especially when they close the local pub for 9 months - 2 out of 3 years! That picture was taken in 2003 and since then some serious drainage work has been undertaken. We wouldn't mind but we are just short of the highest point in Hampshire and our flood water trickles down like a champagne fountain and floods the village below. 1999/2000 the pub closed for 9 months and 2002/2003 for 3.
