Belarusfan
From those latest pics it looks like a true work of art The best model to be launched since the LCN Belarus....
Niels
Collected the IH 1455xl today and it really is lovely! Everything is just there and very detailed. One can discuss the rear linkage but ok.. not the end of the world. Bad points I think the paint is wrong and is more bordeaux red than the bright stuff IH used? And it's a tiny shame they put the windscreen wiper in the middle of the window and not on the side. All you have to do now is buy another one, take the cab off and put that on Britains' 956! justy 46
It looks like an old Zetor Crystal, but a lot more ugly. Built in some Eastern block country i take it.
Niels
Justin: Fortschritt was build in Germany, like the combines. Still plenty around there and loved by their drivers. Sean: Here are some pictures of her.
Niels
One more. The side pannels are very hard to get off. And one from the real deal.

SPN
Never heard off Fortschitt. East Germany before the wall came down i spose. They were a common enough combine in Ireland in the 70s and 80s. I remember seeing a pair of them still working on a big farm outside Naas in the mid 90s.
Niels
There were plenty of combines in the UK as well sold by Bonhill of Thetford. One or two tractors sold also but not more than that.
justy 46
The only combines youd see down my side of the country a few years back were old NH Claysons & maybe the odd Claas. Thats all!
