malcy_p
Not an awful lot happening around Suffolk that I've seen today, apart from these two...

malcy_p
Here's the Topliner... I still expect to see a German sniper appear from the top of the grain tank when I see these, don't ask why!

JoshParkinson
There was a fleet of Fendt 820's hauling grain past my house at about 1am this morning, could hear the combine going over the other side of the village as well if i opened my window. Deere-est
Saw loads on the go around Chatteris today, MF865, Lexions, Case AFX and Axial Flows', a lovely TX36 and even an MF7276? Saw a mint 2680 hauling grain near Buckingham and then back towards home the New Hollands were out in force, nearly all were CR's and a Case AFX too. mrol
Saw this quite impressive pairing yesterday - a new Lexion 770 with 10.5m cutterbar and a Quadtrac with triple axle chase bin (not sure of the capacity but guessing it must be north of 20t). malcy_p
Where were those beauties operating???
mrol
Cambs/Herts border in the Royston area. Can PM exact details if you like but prob best not to be too specific on the forum based on how much stuff is getting stolen to order these days! It is a pretty spectacular pairing. I think there might even be another 770 operating from this farm as last year they had two NH 9080s and I can't believe that one 770 could cope with the work of the two NHs - unless they have reduced their farmed area. The chaser bin seems a bit oversized for one machine as well. The Quadtrac driver had a lot of time on his hands - as he was shuttling to lorries waiting on the headlands. Deere-est
That's a great find, nice to see some machinery like that being used on grain cart. Certainly not the norm but that makes it all the more special. Thanks for posting them up

mrol
A slightly unusual Case?
mrol
Finally, I was right about it being a brace of Lexion 770s - the chaser bin makes more sense now. Sorry, photos aren't great as they were beside a main road and couldn't get very close.

mrol
What sort of acreage would they be covering each year - 3-4000 acres each - so 6-8000 acres in total?
