What tractors did you see today without getting photos

Passed a dealers at Warmigton o/s Banbury yesterday - They had two Brand New Zetors! Didn't know they still made them!

Also had a couple of Fords but couldn't see models.

Haven't seen a new Zetor for ages. Just had a  thought; Skoda and Zetor were all part of the same group weren't they? Didn't VW take over Skoda's? If so, did VW buy the tractor factory too? Will we one day see Volkswagen tractors? ;D:D

I believe Zetor seperated around that sort of time ;)

Zetor Uk are based near Downham Market here in Norfolk, when the Zetor Dealer-Bexwell Tractors-packed up they took over their large site on the outskirts of the town, formerly they were brought in by Motokov at Kings Lynn ;)

I have a strange feeling Motokov also do/did at some point, import Landini tractors too...... :-\ :-\ :-\ ;)

Motokov lost both Zetor and Landini in short succesion...[landini operations being controlled from wheatley hall rd alongside other ARGO group products] they do however import TYM [tong yang moolan] tractors still.

Saw an 07 registered John Deere 6920S with a Griffiths tandem axle trailer. A regular visitor to our forecourt to fill up with diesel. It came in yesterday followed by a Ford 7810 with a fertiliser spreader on the back which I think was an Amazone. Had a chance too look around the John Deere today. Pretty impressive 650x65x38 rears. Still amazes me that with all the horsepower of tractors today, the pikup hitch hook is still the same size as a grey Fergy. Must be made out of some pretty good metal.

Mostly for topping the fields. Our farm is very hill and having nearly killed myself with our old Ford tractor, my hubby bought me this one - it's meant for the Alps, so I can mow anywhere safely with it. We've got a transport box, which was meant for fetching stranded sheep, but we've never used it - usually just stick them in the back of the landy - it's much less hassle.

Yes... we bought it from a deal in Devon, but they've stopped importing them now. I think they're a bit specialised really. It's great though, because it's articulated it get cut into awkward areas - my husband has a 1/4 lake and the woodland around the banks is much easier to manage with this vehicle.
