all 2nd cut done now,started the 600acres of whole crop wheat.krone big m grouping 3 into 1 swath.

moving combines.1st field of barley cut on thursday 17th july.3t acre crop.chaser loading trailer,fastrac at pit.baling and stacking straw.500 acres of winter barley this year.

chaser bin abd challenger on lorry heading down 2 hampshire 4 400acres of rape last wk.done there.300acres cut in glos,200 left,topdown and topper down to hamp,injecting pig slurry on w barley grd 500 acres to do.xpress on barley stubble all done,onto rape stubble in glos.7930 flail topping in front.

been very busy lately,just 300 acres left of the 1800 of rape to do.on 3rd cut silage now,one day left of that,then those guys are on pig/cow spreading on grd for our own rape.7810s team on spreading chicken muck

been on it a wk 2wks left.a days worth of injecting pig slurry on brly grd,then onto rape stubble.all barley subs been x pressed.onto rape stubs now.ripping barley stubs with quadtrac and 9 leg cousins v former.jd 9560r on 7 leg v former too.case 8230 on demo,cartin straw,7810s of muckin.pics.

1 guy ferti on grass 4 4th cut,one on slurry afther.hope to start spring barley at end of wk.dave

rape in pit.

out loading spring barley.

roc swather on jd 6125r.

pushing up wheat.

been a stop start harvest lately,got our spring barley done,on the last 350 acres of our own wheat.then 200 spring barley,200 wheat then 200 beans.got about 700 acres of straw on the grd to bale hence the roc swather,rake to join the fella rake and old deutz fahr rower up.all rape drilled.no pre em this year.see what makes it up.some round up on stubbles done.got most of the cleared grd xpressed.rain past wkend stopped us on saturday on the combines.had 9 tractor/trailers cartin wheat on long hauls last wk,lorrys cartin our own spring barley from store.need the room.skyfall wheat did 12t ha.best bit.rape dk expower.

1.8t ha.tipple spring barley .3.5t ha.

Thanks Julian,good bit of kit,but expensive,got some more work for it lined up.about 1000acres of straw to turn on one estate nr Chippenham wilts.i think it will be used on silage grd on the flinty farms.ment to be less likely to pick up flints and the like I here.

The waffle I used one on a MF 565 back in the 80's.local contractor having real trouble finding a bit of kit that will move and fluf the straw in one go.hows the real harvest down your way going.about 430 acres at work left to cut,lots of straw down to

Yeah be ideal on the silage , especially like you say dave ideal on flinty grounds , reduce the percentage hit the blades on the forager !!!  Harvest dwn here is hit and miss at the minute with the dews lying on the ground till 11-12 o clockish and then again coming in around 8ish , but it is what it is just gotta keep plodding on , luckily we haven't got too much straw left down so at least that's 1 bonus !!! our own harvest finished on sept 3rd.then we went and helped out a neybour 2 days there and off to lackham estates for five days.all done.the muck team have been busy all over the place.and the quadtrac and magum have ploughed 2000 acres for winter barley.the rogator been on round up stubbles and herbicides on rape.ground being ploughed up for grass leys .2 jd 7810 on kv ploughs.claas 85e on lemkin ph dril putin grass seed.4th cut silage has been done to.getting ready for maize and wheat drilling.challenger on express and jd 9560r on 4m topdown going on.

Yes it is Martin,ment to be a water tank to the side of the spray fill up area.thanks for the comment.got some 3000 acres of maize to cut this year with the jag 980 and ten row keeper header.think she can do it.got some 10 mile hauls to do to a ad plant.got a smaller 4 bay grain store from Manson attic at Spalding show today.
