sipher172
I thought I would share a few photo's from a visit I made earlier this year to the National Farm Toys Museum in Iowa earlier this year. They had a section dedicated to Britain's Models. I have also included a few photo's from the Iowa State fair. I visited a model store in Iowa and they had a Farm Toys Forum Model for sale. robbo
That's a good price for the FTF Ford Highway tractor, Andy was selling the last few off at £20 each last year but I suppose it had to be transported to the USA so there are shipping costs to be taken into account
catkom3
I guess that Lenco potato harvester is a Don Campbell hand built model,?? http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/topic/25030-national-farm-toy-museum-photos/?tab=comments#comment-612286 Regards Joe. 844john
Some lovely models there, thanks for sharing them. I've always loved the old American farmsteads with their distinctive barns and houses, would love to see them for myself one day, but the chances of me getting on a plane........... sipher172
It was definitely a shock to see a Farm Toys Forum tractor in a store surrounded by American Farm Models in the middle of the US corn belt. The Farm Toy Museum was pretty interesting. I didn't capture it all in the pictures but the had one area dedicated to models from around the world, Britain's UK, Siku Germany, etc.
