L33 DA17ON
So I've been thinking about making most of the attachments we use on our farm Single bale spike that's used on the john deere 6220 and the manitou think it's a home made thing as it's been use as long as I can remember. Straw grap/squeeze think its grays its yellow I'll confirm when I gave a look next time I'm up there. the straw gram still needs finished off sanding centre section on main frame and add some colour. Would be nice if I could come up wit a easy way to do a working ram with out buying stuff in. Other attachments we have are Large bucket for manitou that's used for mucking out. Brand new muck grab for manitou not sure on make its black and lime green. Also have a triple spike that rolls/unwind the silage bale. Bale squeeze for bales that's been warped. Also 3 back single bale spike. I'll just keep updating as I get one done. It's not the most perfect worm but I'm enjoying building them and getting that achievement most of them will be wood and plastics with the odd bit of copper rod. Just stuff I have to hand as I dont want to spend a small fortune on them. I know you can but some very nice looking loader attachments like perfect32 ones but for me it's the joy and challenge of trying to build them my self. L33 DA17ON
So decided I wasn't happy with the upright grab I made so had a little change around. And also slicing my thumb in the process. Brand new blade
L33 DA17ON
Had this britains 8wheeler trailer just sitting. So thought I'd have a go at changing the wheels about. Made a drawbar and stuck some rear lights on the mudgaurds. Still need to think of a colour for it as its just primer gray.
L33 DA17ON
The grab hopefully will be sprayed yellow then paint the spikes red. I couldn't wait so quickly stuck some paint on the spikes.
L33 DA17ON
Having a go at building a muck grab now. I'm finding it hard to do the hydraulic ram and attaching the two together. I'll call this a prototype
844john
Looks a good job so far Lee, I like the way the top tines are curved like the real thing. Grabs are more difficult to make than they first appear to be, getting them to open and close and keeping everything straight and in line, but it looks like you're cracking on well! Yeah its quite difficult to get it to line up I'm going to have another go at one. Might change things over think I'll do one like our big grab where the rams are down the back where the attachment is. Think the hardest thing is my big clumsy hands and shakes. Best to walk away and do something different then go back to it.
L33 DA17ON
So this is the grab finished just used colours I had to hand. Its kuhn orange I used. Black with red forks would be a good colour combo.

844john
Nothing at all wrong with what you've done up to now Lee, and you've tackled some pretty complicated builds that on the face of it look simple but the building of them is far from simple. Everyone has to start somewhere, and the more you do, the better you'll get.
Tractorman810
as john said some pretty tidy and complex builds there for a first effort, well done.

Thanks think it would look better if I use styrene for the box section and probably get a better finish on paint as well.

Stabliofarmer
Some really nice builds here Lee, would be great to see more plastic profile introduced into your builds to enhance the finish, really like the grab

L33 DA17ON
Got round to making a bale traler today I had a old britains chassis kicking about so decided to convert that. Cut all the high lugs off and the drawbar off. Use a set of old wheels and tyers off a britains tanker. plastic primer the trailer and a couple coats of gray primer. Think I'll be doing this one blue. With white wheels.

I bought the britains a while ago but didnt think it sat well it almost looked out of proportion almost like 1.35 scale. I'm happy with the outcome of this one. Got the first coat of blue on her. Wheels are getting a spray job aswell.
L33 DA17ON
Little colour added to the trailer today. Got the wheels done but went to add the second coat of white to them and it's like it removed the paint to the original plastic. Not sure what's happened there. So I'm just going with gray rims. Might be the pzint in the rattle can has gone bad?
