844john
Not a scratch build this time, but a conversion of a UH 7810. This is based on a tractor that I've spent quite a bit of time on and do have a soft spot for (even though it's not red or green!) The base tractor was a play worn model that i picked up cheap from eBay a couple of years back. The awful UH hitch has been removed and a new one built to match the real one as it has an extra assistor ram fitted and also larger category 3 arms from a New Holland T7. The front weights have been made removable, and it has been fitted with brackets to take a KAT loader. Anyway, progress so far
L33 DA17ON
Great work I do like that style of ford. Think it's the cab makes them looks nice. Top work again my friend.
mb86
Great work again John, that bench of yours is looking like platts yard! Are those gates or bale racks hiding amongst the fords?

Thanks Martin, yes it does a bit doesn't it, I think i need a change of colour shortly, get back to normal so to speak Their neither actually, they're the sides off the 56 bale grab, just working out how it all goes together, you think you remember, but 30 odd years later and you have to stretch the grey matter a bit! 844john
Thanks Sean, yes, one of the down sides of getting older i suppose! A bit of progress on the old girl. The model had no steps or mirrors when i got it, so these have been built and added, the mirrors being slightly larger than the originals, again to match the real one. A grill guard has been added to the front, along with a spool block for the loader, and some paint on the linkage. The loader needs its pipework adding and i need to sort the front hubs as these were missing too, plus a few small jobs and then it's destined for a bit of light weathering

Hajo
Nice addition, eventhough not the biggest conversion but still full of details, such as the weight block. You just have to find some hub covers for the front wheels.
