(or is it the operator ) its the operator but having a nice even row and a steady pace with the baler all helps ,but the main thing is Sunshine , Sunshine in every bale (that's what Kellogg's say about its cornflakes) with you on the NH balers we have had a few over the years and cant remember having any major problems and yes Julie did stack them 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

smithy Posted June 26, 2018 Share Posted June 26, 2018 Tuesday afternoon the wife was rowing up and I was on baler and did two fields of are hay 591 bales in total today and most are stacked in a shed on the edge of the field so straight in with the grab no man/women handling with this lot . With mine and other peoples I have now done appox 3500 small bales and had my first broken string today and that was down to me as I stopped the baler as I had to get out off cab (health and safety ) just as it was about to tie its knots and I think as it was slowing up it was not quick enough for the knotters to knot as without me doing anything next one was fine , only turning to do on Wednesday and hopefully next bit will be ready for Thursday 9 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tractorman810 Posted July 1, 2018 Share Posted July 1, 2018 quick k visit to the farmers market first thng, followed by a bit of a tidy up, even got the will to pop out the shed and pondered getting back to one of the builds (cooks sledge and baler combo) but got distracted by her in doors wanting stuff done,also got in the loft to get a couple of bits down,and had a tidy up,removed a few sipders webs of the layout and thought i really must get back to it,finish all the bits off came very close to removing the new barn to sort the yard finish out on it, maybe next weekend when i have 3 days of as right now its to hot to finish of the few bits i need to outside. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gav836 Posted July 1, 2018 Share Posted July 1, 2018 After spending several hours yesterday sorting out the wiring loom for it, I finally got my Truckman top fitted today so I can now get more stuff in the buck than when the shutter was fitted.......shame they’ve got the wire colours for the central locking the wrong way round in the instructions though! Only had one come out of baler with string not tied out of 4500 and I think that was down to me but I did on this piece have stones cut the strings on 3 bales whilst in the sledge its a new bit of grass and I should have rolled it in the spring to push down the stones 5 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
