powerrabbit
Sometime in December Bill, will have to watch the listings or Decembers 'up and coming' episodes on the BBC website or watch the programme every day that month so it's not missed. If I get nodded the wink on what day it's on I'll let you know so's you can set your button to 'record'.
BC
Retuning 4 TV's for the final digital switch over in our area. One for my elderly uncle at Kintore and three of my own here at home.

powerrabbit
We tend to get a lot of 'celebs' down here, they seem to gravitate to these parts and the areas around Dartmoor are very popular for settings and there are quite a number of well knowns that live around here as well, perhaps it's something to do with the as yet unspoilt countryside, a large number of untouched period properties and of course the slower pace of life and the freindly natives. The Tractor Twitcher
Having returned to the confines of North Yorkshire and after a couple of days back at work my head has returned from it's residency in the clouds after one of the most magical musical experiences i've ever been a part of. The End Of The Road Festival held in the fairytale land of the Larmer Tree Gardens. If Leeds Festival could be described as mad bar and club crawl in the middle of a metropolis then my most recent experience was a gentle jaunt between beer gardens in the countryside without the idiots. I've met some great new friends and had many a constructive conversation and even partied with the bands themselves. An experience so much more intimate than the one you get from festivals such as Leeds. Here's a few snapshots from the weekend for those of you interested. Willy Mason playing in the Tipi Tent on the Thursday. Modest Mouse headlining the Garden Stage on friday evening. The New Pornographers performing in the Big Top late on friday night. Phosphorescent playing the Garden Stage on saturday afternoon, the perfect hangover cure. However it was moments like this that made this Festival so special. Who needs an amp and a microphone? Members from Meursault, Woodpigeon and Eagleowl rock up and perform an impromptude spectacle on the Secret Garden Stage, and we, quite by chance were passing through at the time. Deere-est
Love that Merc-y Ferguson! She's a beauty and the finish is cracking. The new Mercede's are among the best looking cars at the moment I think. The rest either look the same or look rubbish. Audi aside of course (more so the RS4). The colour helps, subtle as you like. If you want, I could lend you the three noughts Mark? As for being long in the tooth? Hoooooow rude!! I bet Bill has to take his teeth out when he is riding shotgun in his mates Porsche!! :D :D

I could be tempted.. probably only 50,000 reason why I can't have one of those though \ :D

Deere-est
What are you putting it in with Scott? Today, after filling up the creep feeders and changing any batteries on the electric fences . ... and separating two bulls fighting over a bulling cow I carried on hedge trimming until 8pm. Came on home and I have just prepared the sloe's to make sloe gin tomorrow night and the blackberries are soaking in white wine vinegar to make blackberry cordial. Need to get a few more blackberries tomorrow to go with the already picked elderberries to make blackberry and elderberry jam over the weekend :)
