NewHolland2
what is the differance between data and autotronic then \ I think Datatronic uses more computer based technology to monitor tractor performance or something similar doesn't it...... \
Tractorman810
from memory thats right mart, think the auto tronic was moer a manual imput lever/button wise than the later datatronic, then they went onto eletronic from memory ,or was it the other way round

sparrow legs
electronic was on the 2725 etc, autotronic was first found on 3000/31 and datatronic was optional (around ?1000 extra) it gave wheel slip/acres worked/fuel used/forward speed/next service due etc on 3600 datatronic was standard equipment, we had a 3655 but never realy used the datatronic when the 6100/8100 series came out it was upgraded to data 2 instead of datatronic. when i was at the mf main agents we had a customer who got a new standard 6180 and had us fit data2 in the workshop as it was quicker than ordering one with it fitted hope this info helps
