Tractorman810
i know what you mean i have 5 mf's sat in the shed half done, as i aint quite happy with something so am looking for the right bit, inc a new 699,to me the cab doesnt slope right at the rear, looks to uprigth?? anyway just been looking at your duncan cab, and its answered a few questions for me as i have a 135 sat in the shed all fitted with one of those and couldnt figure out how the bit went by the door, so i wil amend that now thanks to your pics
1972farming
Glad that my picture helped Sean. I now think that my cab sits too far forward so I might change it.

MJB1
as per usual steve some cracking kit on the table mate :) as for the 595 chassis for a 185 the britains 595 is more in keeping with 590 measurements , & the 590 & 185 was basicaly the same tractor all bar tinwork & cab , just get rid of the fuel tanks & you've got yer 185 chassis :)
1972farming
Thanks for that mate, another bit of good luck for me. I have just been looking through my Walkerparts catalogue and found that he does decals for the 165/185/188 etc. I just have to finish it now. Tractorman810
they are only for the 135 bonnet size mate, so if yours is extended like mine get 2 sets, mind you if they are white ones you can add the extra yourself ok, mine are silver
1972farming
Thanks Sean,I will bear that in mind . I can't decide on silver or white. \ I think silver because the front grill will probably end up being painted silver.

Powerstarâ„¢
Love the Super 4!! Shame you can't remove the Siku imprint \
1972farming
Yes ,I was unsure about the siku tyres but left them for the time being. I guess I could change them in the future perhaps. I may build a 654 next as I have a donor tractor and just need a donor fastrac now.
Lord Ferguson
Has to be silver Steve without a doubt mate... black and silver grill as well... that will REALLY set this superb model off... Just a thought (from a man who is NOT capabale of making a cup of tea without burning the water)... but if the Siku wheels are "embossed" then could you not flatten them down with some course paper.... moving or course to fine to make a finishing "polish" \
1972farming
Worth a try Marky ,I will let you all know how it goes. And yes ,silver it will be for the decals and other details.
1972farming
Massey 185 is moving along quietly.I am going to use slightly wider rear wheels I think .It has only had one coat of paint so far so its still a bit rough around the edges. nashmach
That MF looks good but the wide wheels on the front weren't available when they were new \
1972farming
I am still undecided on the front wheels and trying different options. The narrow ones will be favourites I think. I can't decide whether or not to paint the centres red ? \
