Tractorman810
not sure mate, they did a 4000 series fergy from memory, and the visions look very fergy in thier appearence to,i think they used to get hold of old discontinued mainstream kit from any maker and reuse the plans ect ,well they seem to all look like old makers kit

allis8550
Massey Ferguson used to own something like a 40% share in Landini in the days before Agco took them over , but they sold their share, I think, to the company that became Argo, who now own both Landini and McCormick. As TM810 said MF and Landini co-operated for many years, with both MF's in Landini colours and Landini's sold in MF colours,{ mostly specialist models like vineyard tractors or crawlers}. Lord Ferguson
Ergh Yuck.. I will need to see a REAL 8280 in blue BEFORE I part with my money... I now have 4 of this model... the standard in red, the Farmer Plus (red), the Ltd. Edition in Orange and the SCC Limited Edition in darker orange \ I could have had the Zwolle edition as well I really don't think I will be buying a blue one as well :'( :'( :'( :'( As for landini... Allis was spot on (as always - a very knowledgeable chap ) ... I hated the look of Landidi MF's at that time... boxy and nothing like the MF "corporate" look \
