Deere-est
Wouldn't have the first idea, Mark. I guess I should have looked for the date of manufacture. .... Not very good at this Infergyation game am I? [ I'll take more notes next time and look for any clues! Seemed odd and slighty coincidental that there were two there though as well. I forgot to post this one which I thought was a stunner .. .

MJB1
nice round up of pics tris , always something different ! re; 600/300 i think you'll find the hardnose surround is original & only the grill part is 300 era , i know two farmers who have the same looking tractors , , just like the 500 series grills , after a bit of abuse they tend to fall out & get either lost or damaged & by the look of those 600's i have a sneeking suspicion they are not in the shed every night or polished every sunday

Deere-est
Yes indeed I do love my job, Rich. Always somewhere new and something new to look at, yet not on the road 5 days a week and away from home all the time like it was when I was driving full time. You never quite know what to expect either, as the pictures show!! I'll certainly keep'em coming John, sounds like this year is going to be a busy year with the summer spent on hay and straw haulage :)
Deere-est
Having this week off work for a bit of a break, been away until today down in Dorset and have few days DIY to do including a quote tomorrow for lime plastering/washing on the inside/outside from a restoration company as well as assessing a damp wall - cue more hours work to pay for it!! Anyway, last Thursdays trip was to a dealer out Chatteris way behind the windmills north of Huntingdon. Another chap drove a second Hino up infront of me. We met a farmer there who delivered an MF675 to us which we loaded up. The baler stayed with us to Cheffins where we collected two more tractors. Then on to Ipswich docks where we unloaded the baler and then headed for home with the three tractors. Just for Sean, the reverse drive 26 was still there.... a tidy conversion too it would seem. No clues as to use though.
Deere-est
Another truck parked up next to me at Cheffins to unload this, first time I have seen one. Handy looking trailer he had too. ... Combine wells, no rear ramps and a middle extension. . . Nice.
Deere-est
Then back at the yard, this Laverda hill sider had been sold to a neighbouring farmer to cut 30ac of cereals a year for his own cattle feed. Very tidy old girl, only been in the yard a week! Another couple of consignments of Masseys awaiting the container lorries to take them away. Quite a mixture there too. And finally the load I collected around Somerset on Friday. Two refurbished trailers (old chassis with new bodies built and fitted and a respray), three potato ridgers, one either side of the drawbar and one across the top being held down buy the loader on a tidy little MF575. There was also a Perkins engine on the other side strapped down too.

nashmach
Great update Tris. That 2680 was there in October when we were over for the sale so it is lying about a while at this stage. As for that Laverda combine I think it is self levelling also!
Deere-est
I was waiting for a reply from the Laverda Lover! It's everything, quite a high spec machine really. It was quite funny escorting it, I looked in the mirror after turning left to see the combine jacked over to the right. . . . Someone left it in Auto then! :D
Lord Ferguson
Great pics Mr Trissle.. The reverse drive 26** would have been used on a mortl drive in combine I reckon

Tractorman810
What's one of them then Lordo? Sat up at Cheffins again now. Combine I think was a C registration, Chris. similar to the one corgi made for the db's mate, but the one mortl made the tractor would be driven in backwards to fit it on, then used in reverse to move it, think marky has a brouchure on it truth be known to
Deere-est
I'm with you, I know what you mean now. Well, it's still there in any case! This was my load to Tilbury yesterday, dropped the lorry off there and took the spares up to Cheffins. Loaded a rough 590 2wd there, one of the last built it would appear too and then headed up towards Sleaford where I picked up a really tidy 590 4wd which had been on the farm since brand new! No photos of these two, both standard tractors. The 4wd may be kept back for a few spring time farm duties Also up at Cheffins was this rather lovely V8 R500. Todays load was a New Holland backhoe from Weston Super Mare and a pack of paving from Dobbies in Shepton on the way home, they rang yesterday to say my order was ready for collection - perfect timing eh?!
