IH885XLMAN
well I think the new model is spot on the grill looks better than the origional Britains 5000 so not just a re-hash of the same casting which makes the origionals keep their collectiveness appeal
JC
According to Craig, the New model is correctly scaled, the previous version is slightly underscale....according to Britains that is. Anyone taken any measurements? That has always been my understanding too.
IH885XLMAN
The one isn't bigger than the other ;;; its just the one is smaller than the other : ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D we could see allot of green 1980s budget versions being converted into 4000s and 4600s 4100s as they would be more accurate what do you think :'(
MJB1
only going by the pic i would have to say that i prefer the look of the old one, all bar the front grill
FB
So which one is the correct scale and have RC2 done it again as Dennis pointed out ??? Makes you wonder what else is wrong out there :D
Tractorman810
i guess neither is right to some point, although the older version is correct width wise,i may be out on the lenght as i measured body work wise and not to lift arms but even then the ne wones wrong ,and for sure the heights out to
Deere-est
Are the front wheels set out for spuds or something?
bluegreen
Judgeing by the picture of new ford 5000 I would agree it is right scale. As is my newly acquired Case puma 210. However if you look at britains history of blue scale tractors how did the mighty TW20 model become a 7710 and then a 5610 ??? I bet if you put TW20 model next to new 5000 they are probably same size \ which suggests original 1/32 models were nearer1/43 I suggest we be very thankful for accuracy of recent Britains models

The Case is waaaay oversized.
nashmach
The cab shouldn't have the plastic insert on the bottom unless it originally had the delux cab back window
