1972farming
I have been tinkering with one of my new 5000s and came up with this. Obviously it needs painting and some details added but I think its a bit of an improvement. The rears may look a bit on the big side but I may badge it as a 7000 yet. \ The front axle isn't mounted properly yet but I think its quite do-able. Let me know what you all think please. Cheers. SPN
The Dogs! It looks perfectly proportional to me with those wheels, but in real life the 5/7000 only went to 14x34s. Those rears are close to 15x38. Have you a pic with the original rears and JQ fronts? How bad does it look?
Deerepower
looking good can you send britains a picture so they can see it looks better with a axel that steers
1972farming
I haven't got a picture but it stands too high at the front really. Another option may be the old 6600 rear wheels ?

The old 6600 wheels were awful. I've been waiting years for someone to do 14x34s on Sankey rims.

David Brown 1410 power!
Hello Lads. Some thing has to be done about the new 5000 model its like taking a step back in time except the original had steering of some sort i think it looks great other wise this steering thing needs to be fixed before the 7000 comes out!!!! TS135A DRIVER
I really hope that Britains RC2 get to see this conversion and someone tells them this is what they should have produced in the first place. When an FTF member can turn out this version what was stopping Britains RC2 from doing it

SPN
I will happily take any of the surplus rear wheels off your hands. I have some 9527s which they will suit perfectly.
