sweet jez are the h-irons just plastastruct??

yes hate, HFS - 12 for the roof and HFS - 8 for the uprights ;)

Looks great Jez. What did you use om the ground? What is the size (cm) from it?

Texas

Thanks Texas,

Do you mean the bulding height or the depth of the flooring?

The floor is made from railway ballast stones and cement powder mixed together.

I will do a "how to make my hardcore floor " in the hints and tips section soon and put a link from here

very nice work jez, gonna be one hell of a yard when finished mate

Thanks Sean, it will, but i am now thinking / asking where it can go...... and whats next? A cattle shed or onfloor drier??  :-[:-[ ??? ??? ;D:D;)

is that off EMA ???

It can be. I bought mine from the local model shop, took nearly his whole supply  ;) ;)

Would do though, it's cheaper that way.

Nice work Jez looking fab, very neat and tidy :P :P :P

Thanks Mark, that's the idea. I need an area where the old farm was though, some nice brick buildings would be nice.

depends if your after cattle ect or just a root silage grain farm, loads arround now ,infact more than cattle farms really

It will eventually be an small arable unit, feed barley etc / simple rotation etc with about 40 suckler cattle but i'm no stockman so will need some adcice on that one, e.g how big a shed for 40 cows needs to be and the type of systems you can use, e.g, how many months indoors and out????

Any help, post it here or PM me  ;) ;)

Oh yeah and a small bit of contracting on the sidelines  :D :D

looking good jez can't wait to see it finished. think the dryer shed would be cool

Thanks pete, it's already in my head how to make it, one big open span building but i don't think i have the workbench space for that at the moment....
