Lady Ferguson Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Beautiful bit of craftsmanship... wait until Tris sees it... he'll just love it Quote
JCB BLOKE Posted October 28, 2007 Author Posted October 28, 2007 The building so far weighs 1.5kg (3lb 4oz), so I would guess at about 2.5kg when the roof is on and fully slated etc. Quote
THEBRITFARMER Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Blimey that has to be one of the best model buildings on this site. Beautiful bit of craftsmanship... wait until Tris sees it... he'll just love it I was thinking the same Mandy....I think he may need a bib and a nappy too :D Quote

allis8550 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Wow! that's stunning. What materials do you use? Quote
JCB BLOKE Posted October 29, 2007 Author Posted October 29, 2007 The supplier for the stone is: Richard Stacey Miniature Brick and Stone Products www.RICHARDSTACEY.COM The stone or brick is large scale for dolls houses, so you need to spend hours and hours trimming them down to size with a pair of sharp pincers, but I think the effect is worth the effort. If a job is worth doing - it is worth doing well. Their products are not cheap so be prepared to spend spend spend.... Quote
Deere-est Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 That name has been reccomended to me a dozen times now, must be worth the money then!! Quote
