Lifting Fodder Beet with JD's/Armer Salmon, West Fife

Some shots from a day's worth of lifting fodder beet (yesterday) can be found below.  The machine can lift one row at a time, but can travel at a relatively quick pace, emptying at the end of each row.  A great piece of kit, relatively simple principle to lift the beet, but one mass of chains, belts and pulleys!  Enjoy!

The Cheetah can be used with any tractor over 70-80hp, they don't need alot to drive them so could even be a smaller one :)

Nice pictures. An interesting piece of machinery - haven't seen anything like it around my way.

The sky looks very moody in one of those shots!

Yeah it was supposed to chuck it down but in the end it held off pretty well.  JD6200 (Armer) and 6320 (with trailer).  Thanks for the comments, light wasn't too great at times so colours a bit poor.
