jdc
I know I haven't been on much recently - just been a bit busy. I have wasted a whole afternoon today though getting to know this, which arrived this morning. ;D Been christened 'Snob' by Graeme - see reg. plate. jdc
Probably leave the plastic on forever. Blue levers are spools, yellow knobs front & rear PTO, yellow T-bar PTO speed selector. Switches are for things like auto gears, auto PTO, front suspension, engine speed control etc. 'Power Command' 19 x 6 Eco gearbox. Intelliview Monitor, where you can control Spools, PTO, etc etc. I suppose you could get all the lights up at once. Very pleased with it - but with only 5 hrs on the clock....... jdc
Very nice new office you have there. What do you think to the cab on it? Cheers! I think the cab is excellent, good vis, very quiet, but first impression is that the suspension is perhaps not as good as the Renault. Gav836
Looks a nice ride John. If its like the TS-A Range then if the green boost light is on on the dash the dial on the far right reacts to gravity rather fast :D

BC
Oh that does look a nice machine John... front PTO already fitted and and even a seat for the black labrador ;). You will be able to pull two Charlie Marshall grain carts at time with a beast like that... reversing could be the tricky part though ;D
NIGEL FORD
Cheers! I think the cab is excellent, good vis, very quiet, but first impression is that the suspension is perhaps not as good as the Renault. Nah... probably that you just feel the bumps more as you get older!! Great reg. indeed, by the way LNJ is an old East Sussex reg.

ford4ever
Stupid question but for one who has only driven older tractors ,does it take a degree in electronics to drive the newer stuff. My friend the contractor reckons the John Deeres are very easy and you could let a kid drive it but the Fendts needed a half days instruction??? ??? CJ
nice weapon john i really like these new newhollands so i do, what size tyres have you got on her, 40 or 50k box, all round suspension
Simon
Not spotted it in the posts and can't read it in the photos, which one is she, 6070? Hell of a lot of knobs and levers in the cab, don't think my old chap could operate that one!! Very slinky anyway, looks far better for the 600's, ours are a bit diddy, we got winkled by the dealer on that one, asked for 540's & got 480's.. never mind... Renault's hydrostable cab suspension is better than any as it's a full 4 point system, everyone else uses a 2 point with springing at the back, so while the TZ's & RZ's [or whatever they've been calling them lately] will sway like a lorry and absorb lateral bumps, everyone else's just softens the donkey effect. We have it on ours and it's a definite improvement over a fixed cab but some way short of the Renault system. You don't get the over emphasised feeling of toppling over on a side slope with these though!
rabh7840
looks well jdc quite fondd of the t6000 series ;)did you trade anything in?
jdc
Thanks all. Nice yoak John,Sumo turned up yet? It was due about now but there is now 'around a two week delay' so won't be using it for OSR sowing.. Oh very nice John......So what'll be her first job with you then? :) Probably start off on the grain trailer as Renault is still on narrow wheels. Then cultivating for the OSR. Very nice John, whats with the condoms on all the nobs? You worried it might breed?? Everything in the cab was protected presumably so it didn't get dirty during PDI - nice touch. What a beauty John... quite some beast as well... how many horse power is that mate What a pity nobody invented scratch and sniff forums... I can just imagine the new factory smell of that lady ... then again.. Barry does still come on here doesn't he \ Only just in time for harvest as well... I bet the dealers were biting their fingernails in the last few weeks It's 167 with 'boost' - whenever it decides to allow it. ;D Does smell nice but that won't last long. I was biting my fingernails too Marky....... Nah... probably that you just feel the bumps more as you get older!! Thank you Mr Ford - I will have my revenge On the private number plate SN08 LNJ... I would have gone for LSF ( Letham Shank Farm ) ;D You can't put a kept number on a tractor, I did want to......no MOT or Plate. looks a fair place to spend the day john , what else was in the running before you settled on NH ? hope you know where the fuse box is Claas, Valtra T, Case Puma & Massey 64, Marcus Three fuse boxes - one with 40 in!!!Checked those out already! Stupid question but for one who has only driven older tractors ,does it take a degree in electronics to drive the newer stuff. My friend the contractor reckons the John Deeres are very easy and you could let a kid drive it but the Fendts needed a half days instruction??? ??? I spent a couple of hours in there yesterday, with both Operators Manuals. A lot of it is remembering the key stroke order. Absolutely everything can be 'adjusted'. Anyone could get in and 'drive' it, though. nice weapon john i really like these new newhollands so i do, what size tyres have you got on her, 40 or 50k box, all round suspension They are 580 on front and 650 on rear (38s), CJ. Just a 40k (eco- 19th = 2000rpm) as I don't do much roadwork, cab and front axle suspension. You don't get the over emphasised feeling of toppling over on a side slope with these though! It's a 6080 Simon, and I haven't really put it to the test yet but even climbing on board doesn't move the cab like the Renault. looks well jdc quite fondd of the t6000 series ;)did you trade anything in? I had a 10 yr old 8360 RC which went in April. Phew! Thanks for you comment. Back to work now!
