  1. great choice of tractors, i would love a spin around in the New Holland is that a 16-row planter i am getting curious now on what you use for harvest, or is that contracted out..?
  2. especially the 1:16 cultivator is impressive. There is hardly any good implements in 1:16 around so these scratch builts would probably sell well? looking forward to more pictures of your models and your farm / equipment.
  3. yeah, a real strange creation that is... i actually have one of those somewhere in storage.. the asking price is however 3x higher then what i payed for it including shipment
  4. so he is showing the tractor is too light weight on the front for the plow? surely a nice rock would have been nice to put the tractor on it's side and the idiot driver underneath it! I would think it is much more interesting to demonstrate it's pulling power by putting the plow to work and maybe at the end use the mad skills to make a quick turnaround rather then spinning around..
  5. welcome aboard! hope you will enjoy your time on here, another 1:16 farm toy collector is most welcome, there are not enough on here of those yet(in my opinion atleast) , you'll see that the main focus is on the 1:32 scale here in Europe and there are quite a few very good customizers and scratch builders on here who show their work... would love to see what you have built, dont see that many 1:16 custom builts regretfully...
  6. still not sure if that has to do with us being there well, i'll be there the saturday evening for sure, but if not seen on the evening before, you'll recognize me by either my obviously good Dutch looks, or crouching behind stalls to check out the brochures or carrying lots of blue stuff around (although i have my mule girl with me to carry all the boxes).. and if that doesnt help, i will be wearing a bright green LMF shirt
  7. well Oliver, dont hesitate! i am from the Netherlands and this year will be my 4th visit in succession to this show, really love the atmosphere and the people
  8. can dogs be trained to help the "mentally challenged" (that was put gently ) ? ? ?
  9. classic maybe Patrick is his guide dog as he is blinded by MF
  10. had it on my watch list, but didnt buy it, there was one a month ago that went for half of that price, but for me, it's too high for now..
  11. i am getting the picture now of how you will get on with the addional gear. superb built so far!
  12. you have accumulated quite a few again i can see.. Very nice to have both the german as the English (american?) brochure line of Fendt. But for me the eye catchers are the Versatiles! saw a few that are still missing in my own collection and i do have quite a few of them.. I threw away and cut up all the brochures i picked up at dealershows and the Agricultural national show in my childhood, none survived so pretty much know what it is like to built it up again from scratch.. PS. very nice specialist harvesters theme!
  13. if you are lookinig at what machinery is used to create the models of, that will be a difficult thing to do, most are originally horse drawn equipment of which manufacturers are not well documented. i dont have anything anymore of the Siku Farmerclassic series that started in 2002. So dont know if the boxes provided more information then what you found on the farmmodeldatabase..
  14. just booked the eurotunnel crossing for the long weekend, got the travellodge booked already at Springfield center, so pretty much set to go.. Only need to fill my wallet up for some spalding show shopping
  15. that will be a great combination with the woodchipper. wasnt a Vredo with woodchipper working at the crossing of the A326 and Drutense weg in our town a few months back?
  16. wait a minute, thought that happened in the hotel room later..., should not drink so much apparently it's the afterparty i am worried about..., seems Andy, Niels and Barry were heading to a stripclub in town last year, who'll know what happens this year, maybe Barry gets one more tattoo? A Ford to match Pete's buddy JD tattoo and Marky's MF tattoo
  17. yummy, my blue heart bumps harder when looking at your recent purchases. The Roadless Ploughmaster 6 / 4 is brilliant!! as well as the Roadless 120 and Dave Purdue's Doe 5100 which are both beauty's as well
  18. wonderful brochures.. those are sadly missing here except for the combines
  19. welcome aboard! you'll enjoy your time here and if searching correctly, you wont have any trouble in finding what you are looking for. for Britains parts, there are a few addresses you can mail to. one is Dave Towse, the other Henri Walker, contact details are probably somewhere on this forum, but i would need to check.. for models there are also a few trade places (and this forums classifieds) that might have those on offer. Ebay is one of them, but also farm toy shows (the english members on here, will probably know if there are any in your area).. for your diorama needs.. there is really only one person to go to (lady ferguson on here) Mandy of hollylovestoys.com enjoy your time on here and please dont hesitate showing your hobby related endavours or ask questions..
  20. thank you for adding those.. very nice shots of some real beauties.. would love to take one of those for a spin
  21. mighty fine looking van there Mandy! looks in tip top condition, you'll be having loads of pleasure from it! (except for the filling it up with petrol part with current prizes )
