  1. time for us to make a better one
  2. My money is on this thing towing a shredder trailer along the highways, picking up piles to feed into said shredder, hence the small grab (based on the shredders capacity) - the small grab also is probably to do with this things extended reach wieght capacity which is why I'm going to go with embankment work rather than forestry
  3. The gauntlet has been thrown down!...but who is man enough to pick it up?
  4. Maybe this one is used for verge work? Stabilisers not usuaual and i doubt the steps would be there if used in forests
  5. I still don't get why the pre 1977 machines are so important to you? Any idea where it will be attempted?
  6. I think the forestry cab is different to the standard one Still could be done though
  7. Was this at cheffins? I noticed one in Leeroebuck's post
  8. Strange, it doesn't look that hilly in the photographs
  9. Anyone else see the title of this thread and think..."but I don't have a time machine!" Thanks for the photos
  10. That'll make a nice loader tractor
  11. I thought so at first but now I think I was confusing the two different special editions they did in '98
  12. I was thinking of the 50th V8 and confusing the grill from the heritage - the V8 can look pretty green depending on the light The heritage wasn't only lime green Still, the puzzler is that the above model was from 1994, so not a 50th nor a Heritage. I'm going to go with the Defenders introduction to the U.S market
  13. V8 Auto, light grill? (silver?) are you not on about the 50th Anniversary model from '98?
  14. If that is true (I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't be) what is the value of those 8730s bearing in mind anyone with a donor massey of the right vintage could make one?
  15. I know Mark, trying to drop you in it like that I'll hold off because of my percieved mistake invovling the 1500 ( I was of course refering to the series, everyone knew that ) although if someone imports one and turns up, i'm in the clear (hint hint)
  16. You're totally right mart, someone put a picture of one on farmphoto, they mentioned that the visibility is terrible, I can see why! bit of a snoopy that tractor
  17. Massey 1505 - 1974 - 1977, I await your numpties
  18. And you forgot the gargantuous 1200 and hugantic 1500
  19. Its strange, but when I sold a logging trailer from that set on its own unboxed, I got about as much as complete MIB valmet + trailer sets were going for on ebay (?13 versus ?15 for the complete set)
  20. The logging trailer is complete, crane versions did not come with the black thimble like thing on top of the front mount, as far as I know, no versions had six of the outside log supports, only the four that you have - wheels look like post 1997 Macau and therefore I would assume this came as part of the Valmet 115 set
