  1. print on waterslide and laqueur it. use a paint program that allows you to set the page up to be the size you want - MSpaint is no good for this, you can remove the trial and error needed - if you want, design in 1:1 then scale to 1:32 using corel or PS = high detailed decals - of course not all of the detail will print, you'll get some ink bleed, but it'll be good enough.
  2. Cracking job, all it needs is a little loader
  3. Every time a camera takes a photo, it records the settings and imbeds them in the image (they can be removed fairly easily though) If you have firefox, go here http://ted.mielczarek.org/code/mozilla/fxif/ and download the program. Then all you have to do is right click on an image to see what it was taken with, and how it was taken
  4. My mistake, just looked like it from the reflector on the trailer and the exif data
  5. TUT TUT, shouldn't use flash illegal apparently...
  6. Shouldn't the cab be white? Good work, I saw one the other day and thought that it would make a good model, I wonder if we'll ever see a "real" model, with JD bowing out, JCB is sure to dominate the 1/32 market
  7. Maybe there are times when this one is contracted out, that fuel is not availible, or not worth taking out to it, so if they can get away with longer stints in the field or over 2 days, it would make sense to them
  8. Ohh, you don't want to spray her in the cold
  9. bit off topic, but are larger ploughs generally better at straight furrows as the effect of one share going a bit astray on a hard patch (.etc) is compensated by having others in the soil?
  10. and to take over when the going gets tough no doubt! These STX's seem to be getting more common, American iron getting a foot hold?
  11. Ah, but one day people will be buying books for this sort of infomation
  12. heres an enlargement of that image - looks different to other 716s I've seen, but maybe they are older/newer models? any ideas?
  13. 1/16 - great if you like vintage tractors in isolation, but what if you like farms? Or combines? What happens when vintage tractors get "newer" and therefore larger? does one pack in the 1/16? Does it matter that a 1/32 tractor lacks certain detail when it would be too small to be of major relavence? It depends on how anally you admire your tractors, whether you study the engine block or sit back and look at a tractor pulling an implement in the field. There have been some terrible generalizations in this thread which makes it painful to read. You could say why make a tractor in 1/16, when a tractor in 1/12 will be so much more detailed, or why go for 1/32 when 1/64 will take up less space, the answer, there is no best scale for anything
  14. Thanks chaps, had a look on that site, but couldn't find the model, what HP requirement do you reckon?
  15. No idea of the make of implement, Fendt had a hard time pulling it though, plenty of slip. Fox's farm services of Nynehead incase anyone knows of them.
  16. Wow, impressed by the panning shots, been trying them myself recently, 1/20 handheld? if so that must have taken a few goes!
  17. This site has some great rendering of cars http://archive.cardesignnews.com/studio/tutorials/vx220/index.html
  18. Thats what confused me before, that there are two different methods. Side note, its great that the europeans have to use inchs for their wheels cos the metric system for rims never caught on (ask any '90s jag owner who can't find tyres)
