  1. Looking good, she does need a grill though, that'll smarten her up no end, and sort that front tyre out
  2. Silage pit crew looks interesting, what is that?
  3. Is it the turning circle, fuel costs or just tradition - I've always assumed the last point played a part
  4. I hope to put a rear discharge muck spreader on it (no-ones yet responded to the question about dimensions in the bergman spreader thread though ) but whatever I put on, it will be detachable. This FC doesn't have a 3 point linkage and the rear frame is slightly longer (based on a real working example, which had a front tank). I'm hesitant to make the side tanks because if I did, I would want them in resin so if I wanted to make more FCs I would not have to remake them each time because they will be a pain - so I may fit a removable front tank to this one, which in the future may be changed.
  5. Last two - front axle, more trouble than it was worth second pic attempts to show articulation but wheels kept falling off! Might be finished by christmas at this rate!
  6. No fuel tanks yet - dreading doing the ones between the wheels so may go for the front tank option. No driveshafts either yet, using springs ala MB trac
  7. Got a bit more done on it today, phone pics so sorry about quality. Cab + roof and wheels placed only for effect
  8. Great pictures - RNLI countys look stunning
  9. 7840 and MX285 * Great selection of machines, does the Belarus like watching real tractors work? :P
  10. Great photos - That 2wd just looks weird though!
  11. Good stuff - a good combo! Mines only a lowly 4700 though! http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=2132.0
  12. I did Felt it was a worthy topic for discussion - Nigel, I hope FTF will be getting the first pics of this model
  13. There were probably a few there but if they were modern I couldn't be bothered - I only like the older models because they look different to everything else
  14. That disc harrow what were they thinking with that one? Will ertl make a Magnum with duals I wonder?
  15. Nice one Sean! I wonder if the tyres off of the rear of a JD 4020 or the MF1800 would suit if you wanted to go with something narrower, rest looks really good
  16. Question to keep you busy What models (from the first ever built) preceded the most recent harvester, in order?
  17. Wow, looks like a lot of time has gone/will be going into that
  18. Top work luke, makes it look like he is working in the clouds, beautiful countryside and that weather is cool
  19. If you do one thing tomorrow then, make it a decent meal mjb:) Good luck with the rest
  20. Thanks Nigel, that makes sense to me, powershift must have be an even greater advantage when fields aren't flat
  21. Poor old Gav then!!! I know absolutly nothing about these tractors........but I'd go for the one in the best condition/lowest hours, a great design is nothing if it is worn out
