  4. if you keep posting images like that, people are going to start thinking its not even worth attempting to win this photographic competition
  5. I reckon on at least ?25, not so common with the backhoe
  6. I'm not going to do it I don't think , putting all that info up for the world, with naff blogs about how they caught the bus today or deep thoughts on what shade of grey is black Myspace as owned by Rupert Murdoch....big brother is watching you

  11. I'm going to add the other thread after this post, hopefully that will explain it all
  12. Maybe they just see it as a loss leader...if your paying max postage for your combine to be delivered, you may as well order some other models at normal prices....or it just attracts you new customers and deminishes the share of your competitors
  13. Streuth! had any bales pass you on the way down? Looks very green as well
  14. Sounds about right, so we have Ford to thank for Fergusons Both very important machines as stated though and the most common suggestions in this thread, but say we had an important tractor of each decade, what would it be? to move this on a bit as its easy to see the Fordson and Fergie as key tractors as they kind of laid the foundations for the modern machine. I doubt we'll agree on this, but its worth a try
  15. Didn't the three point appear on the fordson first, before that the Model A?
  16. I like that kind of layout, not too sterile
  17. That fendt must have a busy time You missed out the best piece of kit though
  18. What was the first tractor to sport a front linkage? How about the larger system tractors? Have they become more popular? Trying to work out if designs like the Xerion, Xylon and MB trac were/are just flashes in the pan or the future?
  19. Oh no, a draw! Nath, should have entered the imfamous 22 tonner, garentued victory then!
  20. If you had to pick the machines that shaped tractor evolution, what would you pick? The earlier ones are probably easiest because of the big changes in terms of construction, the switch to diesel and the methods of hitching, but what about the last 50 years?
  21. There must be licensing to sort out though? You can't just go making a new model without McCormick getting annoyed? And as far as I know Siku still have the rights to the NCC Rulez series
