  1. Mainly 1980s to now, but apart from the recent Siku historical releases and of course the JD 4020 and David Brown from RC2, there hasn't been a lot of vintage to collect over the last few years in 1:32 unless you bought a kit such as SCALEdown or paid a load of money, if I could afford it, my collection would be a lot more vintage than it is now. I read in the diecast collectors supplement (thanks Dave T) that the vintage outsells the modern in 1:16, I would like to see an increase in the 1:32 vintage market
  2. http://www.creativemasters.co.uk/acatalog/Agricultural_1_32nd_Scale.html Here is the cheapest I've found them, ?30, but watch the postage of ?6, but that seems to be for any number of models ordered
  3. Just put a drive shaft on to one of the gears in the casing after disconnecting the driveshaft
  4. I was going to make some of these for ebay, but I found it too hard to make it totally reliable and not likely to fail - I could just imagine someone filling the thing with breakfast cereal then getting neg feedback So the thing rotates well enough if the tractor has a good battery in it, but once in a while it will stick, so I'm not going to mass produce them.....I have a much better idea
  5. That would be great, I've search hi and low for pics, but all I find are really poor quality or show the machine in action - which isn't very good for seeing the machinery
  6. That mog looks great, would a spinner for lime be smooth though as in the siku fert spreader? but it seems like a good start
  7. Heres something I've been working on, can anyone suggest how to make the rear spreader things, or something I could adapt off of another model? Or does anyone have any close up pics of the spreaders, I don't really know what they look like
  8. My first thoughts were the wheelbase, but then the skip lorry threw that one out, but who knows, it may have been an economy measure to reuse it
  9. Rick, I am not familiar with the model no. of the UH so it could be between 95 - 150hp (at the engine, not pto.), but the answer will be here if you need it http://www.valtra.com/
  10. Which companies can Ertl/Rc2 alone produce diecast toys for, if any?
  11. Thanks Andy, that sheds some light on it, interesting that they choose the 9* as the prefix and that the number plates on the landrovers, earlier cement mixer/skip lorry etc. should read "BTR 90" or was this just to reflect a decade?
  12. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6970414088&category=741&rd=1 erm...
  13. J.D mad, did you ever find anymore, I have 2 more? And have any of these parts I sold ended up in awesome conversions?
  14. No..its busy I have to agree with TOG, this is the best 1/32 implement I have seen.....ever
  15. I found this today whilst looking for pics of a 8400, quite a coincidence to see both 8400 wheels on a 8670 and siku tyres on another, I can't tell if he has reversed the hubs like on mine though http://timopolo.piranho.com/eigenbau.htm
  16. I can't beleive no-one has guessed/been bothered to post the answer Clue - its green and yellow and theres not one picture of it on these boards.....
  17. Yeah looks great...and that marston in the background looks interesting
  18. Has anyone else noticed this? the tractors may be getting larger but the drivers sometimes seem to be getting smaller, just look at the Valmet 115 forestry compared to the quadbike riders. Most of these drivers seem too small and look silly in the modern machines
  19. just push fit, of interest, but un-connected in terms of guessing the axle, the tyres from a JD 5410 fit perfectly on those rims, the tractor was going to have the rear wheels as Stx450 wheels/tyres, but not euro enough. . If it helps the rims and the axle are from the same tractor
  20. Well done on the tyres, the rear wheels are also off of a JD6920. As for the front axle, the wieght block still turns as per original model, the axle is attached to this, but the ackerman steering is not controlable from the cab I did try connecting a rod back from the loop on the steering arm to the chassis, but lock was poor and strength questionable, I figured I wont be driving it from the cab, how it looked was more important Poor photo, but I can't stick it on its roof to photograph it
