clarification on measurements
Fendthead replied to Tractorman810's question in Custom Model Methods/Tips/Help
Thats ok, I think the reason is ...e.g if all the tractors on a farm should be 72inches, by working from the centre of the tyre all trctors should track the same, no matter what the tyre size. If that makes sense, -
Thank everyone. I will try to get a bit more done, I am going to open the back window and one of the doors and add a bit of detail..........But I have got a flue bug off the wife , she didn't have to share EVERYTHING

clarification on measurements
Fendthead replied to Tractorman810's question in Custom Model Methods/Tips/Help
To the centre of the tyres on tractors, back when I was a fitter did a lot of PDI work . normal width these days is 72inches from centre to centre -
Well I have put the airbrush down for a few nights as I want a fendt 718 and the siku one was not realy what I wanted, front linkage and cab....nasty.But I love the wheels and tyres, so I thought I would have a crack at so of this convo stuff . I am using a UH 820 and the siku 718, wheels and hood but the UH front grill, it is a little more involved than I thought as I have had to lift the cab a few mm and do a fare bit of modding on the front wheels and hubs. And I have had to use the siku front mudgards as it just didn't look right with the narrow UH front gards anyway here it is say what you think as this is my first shot at a cut n shut

Yup..... Vat gets cut, inflation rate goes down, And whats the effect....all prices go up, yet again the weewee is taken out of uk customers >. If I tried to put my buisness prices up by 30+% in one go, my customers would wast no time in showing me the door! Oh yer and just for the record I think the siku tractor etc are well over priced at the min......good toy, sh*t model, only good bit is the tyres .price they want for some of there trailors etc is shocking. I would rather work with a britains or UH any day I do see that the excnange rate could be effecting things, but I can't help be think that some marketing type people just see an opertunity to Inflate the required increase and hide it in the current state of the economy, \ OOOoooo I could crush a grape

I think you may get closer to the paint match with humbrol or revel paint on the grey for sure, as for the green hmmm -
Very nice, lookin great

That does look good, maybe the front mudgards need lifting a bit as if you fitted those tyres on a real tractor you would have to adjust them. It looks like they are on the tyres at the min. But it looks great and a clean job, nice I want a set
