  1. In bed all day, fully clothed with a beanie hat on, elec blanket on and still not exactly warm!
  2. Happy new year to you, great to set it off with an update showing what you've been up to 'down on the farm'. The stack of old tyres is authentic of any and most dairy farms. Muddy tyres this time of year too and I see the maize silage is disappearing too. Great update So, where to now then for Horseshoe Farm?
  3. I think 'robbo' may just take a fancy to these photos
  4. Wow Thomas, there must be quite some hours involved in making this model. There are so many parts by the look of it and most of them no bigger than a finger nail! I really like to see you posting your creations again
  5. Oooooh bless her! She looks quite comfy with toasty toes, Mandy
  6. Yes I think the spring pressure on it's hardest setting is still quite soft, John.
  7. We had a 4m one at Lackham when I was there, don't know if was git rid of in their clear out or not. I also know of a 6m Vicon variant which was bought on eBay for under £700 and in first class condition. It's a well liked drill for lighter or well worked seedbeds.
  8. The G240 does look very dapper,.I do hope a blue one follows this year so I can have me an 8870. Will you add the other colour variant if it comes, David? Seeing that photo of you two boys playing reminds me of me and my best friend, little Nick doing the very same. We must have simular photos waiting to be found
  9. At least anyone on FTF knows to steer clear of that 6150 now....... or who to come to if they di buy it!! :D That 595 is incredible!! What a testament to its owner. Oh and Fritz you say? Looking forward to your photos even more now 8)
  10. Started the say with the usual feed and play with Zia, followed by a fry up for me and Traci. Up to the inlaws to dig up a tiger grass they no longer want so said we could have it. Pup had a good burst of energy up there too as the inlaws have a big garden. Came home and gave het her feed at lunch time and left her here while we went back to inlaws to pick up some standing roses they had also duh out. Came home and spent the last hour of daylight planting the grass, three standing.roses and six patio roses as well as digging out a philadelphus we didn't like..... All this while Zia tried playing with the spades, running around with clippings and generally being a pain in the bum!! She has now been asleep since so I think we succeeded in tiring her out. It's been an odd week for her food wise and having eaten a broken off part of recycling box However, she seems back on form now and is an absolute horror in a very good way :)
  11. Hang on....... Have you got a rear tyre on back to front?
  12. Oh I quite liked it as an open platform No, in all seriousness you have turned what appeared to be a good strong toy into a very fine model indeed
  13. Great to see you getting busy with the models again, Mark. I know how much you enjoy it. Hope there is more to be added to this topic through the new year
  14. People can only buy what they can afford - which is not always the same thing as what they want. UH suit many collectors, me included when they make what I am looking for. That said, once in a while you have to buy something that justifies a bit of overtime, or some birthday money and so on. Our cottage industry scratch builders and our conversion builders do just that I believe. I hope enough people can keep doing that in these hard times. I look foward to adding any model to my collection which is a scale replica of something I have used but that's even more special when it has been built on someone's workbench in a shed, attic and so on by a pair if hands over a period of weeks or months
  15. Thank you Markus, I also send warm wishes for health and happiness over the water to you and your family; and to all our members here on FTF and supporters of Model Farmer magazine xx
  16. One resolution will to be to buy a 1/35th scale hand made HYMAC 580C.
  17. Humbrol Satin, Mark. That's a good int colour. Mandy for decals?
  18. Truly brilliant! That looks fantastic, Thomas. It is also a welcome return to FTF for you and your talents, which are among the very best
  19. Where are the photos from, Tim as many say 'prototype' on them,.just wonder if they are mean't to be in circulation \
