  1. But just because they were both 6cyl doesn't mean that their bonnets in real life were the same length, by that logic the TW-25 and TW-35 would also be the same. I put Britains wheels and cab roof onto an Ertl TW-20 to make it an SQ TW-15 and I'm pleased with the way it blends in.
  2. I'm inclined to agree with SPN, the Britains TW-20 was around 1:34
  3. What I used when making Ford decals was Eurostile, but stretched slightly
  4. I don't think front mudguards were factory-produced until the Force II TWs
  5. I did some older wooden silage trailers, can be seen in http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?/topic/16892-silage-trailer/
  6. He asked if Britains had ever done a TS115A and I was merely pointing out that they had planned to and then for whatever reason it was delayed.
  7. When the first pictures were shown of a TS-A with front loader it was set to be badged as a TS115A. The T6020 badge on it now is completely incorrect
  8. Yeah, Magirus Deutz were available in the UK, Warner Hall covered the development of the lorries (and the missed opportunities) in Model Tractor magazine earlier this year.
  9. It's like the Ship of Theseus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_of_Theseus) or Trigger's Broom!
  10. The Ertl TW can be made to fit in with the Britains one by putting on new shoes and cab roof
  11. They badged it as a TW-20 first day and then realised they'd messed up - it would be a TW-20 in about 1:35 or so - hence why it was changed to a 7710, which the size suited better, even if the engine block didn't. Why it was then rebadged as a 5610 is anybody's guess
  12. Are the rear mudguards a little too angular and not rounded enough? Also I didn't think that front mudguards came as standard until Force II?
  13. The bigger back wheels look better than on the Britains
  14. Warner Hall said in one of his Farm & Site articles that his prototypes were the closest anybody would come to a blue production model
  15. Axle from a JD4020, large tyres from Henri Walker

    Ertl 2011

It almost looks like it's 1:64!
  17. When first writing about the development of these trailers in Farm & Site, Warner Hall said they were 3/4 tonnes
  18. Try rorsday (Rory Day, Classic Tractor editor), there was a feature on Mick Cooper in CT a few years ago
  19. Was a bit alright! Header and chute (shortened) from a Britains Claas, Siku wheels and a lot of styrene!
