  1. Yeah. Im getting the can of JD spray paint this weekend. Sould have done it first day!
  2. You have some very rare ones there. The Ford 7400.,8100 & 8200 i would love a look at.
  3. Thats it lad. Next time im passing FARM DOWER in Cork ,im dropping in for a can of it. Cause i also what to put a front linkage from my Imber Ford 5640 on a Siku JD 7530 for a bita realisem. So ill be painting up that also to take this front mower. The front linkage that came with the Ford is a bit much for a tractor of that size,so ill put to better use on the JD. Cheers Barry . Thanks
  4. Yeah it drives me crazy also when UH brings out a model is 1/16 or 1/43 but never follow on with a 1/32 version. Like the MF 175 & 65. We might never see them in 1/32. Who knows! The same with the FORD 7000 ,7600 & County 754.They have the Fords in 1/16 ,but again no 1/32. I know Britains have em in 1/32 ,but a UH 1/32 Ford would have been better detailed & would have had STEERING unlike the Britains. If you look at the Britains Ford 5000 its curved like a bannana were the bonnet meets the cab. I SO WANT A UH 1/32 70's or early 80's era Ford. But fairplay to UH with the MF 135,590,1200 & 3080. Same goes for the FORD 7810 & Pre Force 5000.
  5. Hi lads. Im trying to build a Front mounted JD 131 Mower to go with the Britains 535 Mower conditioner. But i cant seem to match the colours & its driving me crazy. \. Im mixing Hurmol & Revell paints and cant get right. Can any one help or give me tips.
  6. Im trying to build a front mounted JD 131 Mower to go with the Britains JD 535 Mower But i cant seem to get the paint to match. Im mixing tins of Hurmol & Revell modeling paints & still cant get it right. \ Can anyone help or give me tips!
  7. On which tractor? The TW or the 8210. Cheers!
  8. Well i spose your glad you hung on to them now! If your going to rebuild em. Post me some pics if you can!
  9. Thanks Johny. It was a quick & easy conversion you could say.
  10. No problem Steve. If you get on to Dave Towse at www.britainstoyfarm.co.uk. He has all the parts for those models. I would highly recommend you to check it out. He sells on eBAY also. But i just buy direct from his main web page. Plus his fast to post & his prices are good. That TW cost me around £28 to restore. Not bad when a boxed model is making over £100 these days.I also got the parts & decail for that Ford 8210 conversion. So if you wanted to be different with your 5610 you could. Like make it a 6610 or 7610 maybe.
  11. YES .Thats the one! Cant wait. Want ,want ,want. Hope the do a the Ford NH version.
  12. Nice job. The origanal Siku MF 5455 that you used was away of scale anyways by Siku. It seemed a bit big alongside other models. Maybe it was the wheels being a bit big & giving it hight. But you have it the way it sould have been first day . Having it a 6465 does it justice considering Siku have it oversized a bit for a 5455.
  13. Saw a Case MX270 with Kuhn triple mowers. Tractors of that size & power are a rare thing in my part of the world.
  14. You could be right actully. I think it is! My mistake. [i always get mixed up between Ros & Replicagri.
  15. That Replicagri IH 845XL would look fine in the display cabinet longside the Britains 1056XL. I recon most of the models ill duy this year will be by Replicagri. I already have the NH M160.Must get the 1300DT ,880DT & this IH. Replicagri are also going to release a Fiatagri NH G240 i hear in a few months. That will be another must have. I wonder if they will also do the FORD NH 8970 vesion. If they do ,that will be better again!
  16. Thanks Padraig. Id love to do a bit more ,but time is a bit scarce lad. Looking at your setup ,i love the pics of your FORD 7710 conversion being filled longside the CASE silage harvester & the lads having their grub in front of the IH & trailer fulla turf at bog is class! Your diormas are by far the best ive ever seen! Fairplay again. Keep it up.
  17. Im the same. Between looking after my 9 month old baby girl & work ,i dont have time to scratch my backside. And id say when she gets quick on her feet im going to have to box those models & send em to the attic for a while!
  18. I repainted my massey trailer also a few weeks back, but i left the sticker on to leave it orginal .
  19. Your more than a collector Padraig. YOUR AN ARTIST. :)Do you display your fine art alot around shows in Cork & kerry? Cause ive never seen anything as good as this at any show & im only over the county bounds! The oldskool silage setup with those trailers is f***ING CLASS. .Are you going to be at any modelshow localy in Munster cause i want to see this diorma for real?
  20. Ive a box of old bits & pieces also. My father inlaw goes to carboot sales and he might come across the odd model tractor and buy it for me to see if i could do something with it. Its funny cause youd be surprised what he would bring back . Old 80's era Britains stuff sometimes. But you can always do something with a broken tractor
  21. Thats sweet. Could have done with that machine last December.
  22. I had seen a Britains Box set like yours for sale in a local modelshop at home in Cork ,Ireland. The only thing tough, is it had a Ford 6600 instead of the 5000 in the set. He was asking 230 Euros for it.
  23. Oh lad im over that 70'S era Britains Ford 5000 box set. What scale is the Corgi DB ?
