  1. Try Dave Towse at www.Britainstoyfarm.co.uk. I got all my Decals and parts for my FORD models from him. He also does obsolete Britains tractor parts. He is your best bet. I got an 8210 decal from him for a conversion 4 months ago and aload of parts for a Britains TW-25 i rebuilt last week. Very fast to post & good prices also.
  2. Thanks for that . Must check it out. A close friend of mine also had his MF collection featured in Classic Massey mag 2 months ago. Its under Mick Ford MF collection. He has one of the biggest Massey collections in Ireland. I drive some of his gear on Vintage roadruns. :)But i always opt for the only Ford he has most of the time. A Pre Force 2000.
  3. Very good. I see a few nice model tractors there also. The Ford TW & the Blue County look nice.
  4. Thanks Johny. I might do a little more to them yet. Might change the rear wheels on the 8830 & glaze the cab. I plan on doing a Fritzmer cab FORD 4600 maybe next. It would be fantastic if some guy started selling spare UH parts like Dave Towse does with the Britains parts. There is so many guys crying out for wheels etc for conversions ,but cant justfy buying a perfectly good model just to butcher it for a few little parts.
  5. Yeah dint look at it that way. I was only going by the style & look of the rear steel rims. But youd see the odd TM120 or 125 running on 38s. The higher horsepower TM140s to 155s would have the bigger 40s & 42s alright.
  6. Which issue of Classic tractor was do ya know? Must check it out.
  7. Thanks Gregor! ;)Must try and get my hads on a few 3cyl Fords now like a 4600 & 4000 etc. Maybe from DBP Models.
  8. Thanks Pat. ;)I actually have spare glazing from a Britains FORD ,but it will not fit in the Siku . Dont know what to do!
  9. Even tough im BLUE at heart ,i always had a soft spot for IHs & CASE IHs. There fine machines . Nice pics lad!
  10. Yeah ,it makes the 5610 look awful. Then again the 5610 used the 6 cyl TW-20 casting so it was never acurate anyway. I have em both also tough, but you could never display them alongside each other i feel. It just dont seem right .
  11. If you think about it tough, the only reason Britains upped there standards lately was to try and compete with UH & REPLICAGRI. But still be cheaper at the same time, & try and strike a balance between the carpet farmer and the collector. Back in the 70's and 80's when Britains produced the MF 590, their only competition were Corgi & LoneStar i spose. So they were the best back then by a mile. But starting to improve again with those IH & CASE models.
  12. VERY VERY NICE! you have a nice MF workshop diorma going in the backround also. Very detailed! Fairplay! :)
  13. Not really. Ive both the UH Valtra T & the NH 6020 ,when i compared them both the wheels were the same size. At the end of the day ,a New Holland is a NEW HOLLAND. If you have em both check it out lad! They aint too small! Belive it or not.
  14. An old classic. A Britains FORD TW-25 that i restored.
  15. The Ford 8210 was my first ever conversion build! I also used the inacurate Britains Ford 5610 as my base. Why Britains did not make it an 8210 ,7910 or TW-15 from day one bothers me! \
  16. The Siku example was never very acurate with the cab not having the Super Q style roof & the wheels were also too small!. It also lacked detail so i went about modding it and produced this!
