  1. I remember the day we bought the set at a local auction. It was heart pounding stuff, especially when everyone else seemed oblivious to what the set was! I imagine quite a few go through the local auctions un-noticed.
  2. Sold at vectis Lot 3007 Britains - December 15th, 2005 Britains No.146F "Model Farm" Gift Set comprising of Fordson Major Tractor - dark blue, orange spud wheels, driver, another but with black tyres, Log Trailer - green, Plough - green, red, Tipping Trailer with Raves, Disc Harrow and Roller - conditions are generally Good to Excellent complete with 2 x instruction sheets, outer box with paper label is generally Fair but complete (has had some replacement cardboard in places - still a Good example of a hard issue to find.
  3. Probably our best ever find! I posted this couple of years back. I will get some more images at the weekend with the lid and label! I guess they may have done some with the side headlights too? The tractors in the set originally were identical, but in slightly worn condition, so have been replaced with better examples.
  4. Very nice! I think there many have been some with the ddn in, Im sure theres a picture somewhere. Most had the FSM 5000.
  5. I think it most certainly is a repaint. I think it cost £20 so we are pleased! The missing bumper is not correct either. I think Dad has recently bought an identical model, but more original so I shall post up a comparison as soon as I can. The 6 wheeler does not appear to have a wooden float. A couple more here now too Managed to find a boxed farm lorry this weekend, and a light blue version too.
  6. Anyone able to post up a Siku / RC2 comparison yet?
  7. Very nice sets! Look like they have come straight out the factory!
  8. I have seen a few struggle on ebay. It certainly is a standout model, but wouldn't be the favorite in most people's collection, I'm sure!
  9. Ok, so Dad and I have had a go, or should I say Dad has! Pretty good job I think for a first attempt. Really brings the box back to life
  10. A few more from the collection then. Most recent addition is the second image, added yesterday
  11. This model is now planned for 2010. However, its less to do with RC2 and more to do with Massey tinkering with the real machine and delaying the release.
  12. I am not sure if this is related or not, but appears to be similar size and style. This is from Brazil. Jue Toys? Cant tell if its plastic or not.
  13. Ive been "home" home, but only a couple of times to home, which is mum and dads I took the pictures but havn't transferred them on to the computer. Thanks for reminding me!
  14. Who is going to do a first review comparison between this and the siku JCB item? I would be very interested to see that
  15. I will be adding all of the small orders (1 - 4 models) to the shop in the coming weeks, or sending out an email invoice if you dont have a shop account. There has obviously been several large orders made, but please remember the small orders get priority and any remaining will then be allocated to the large orders on a first come, first serve basis.
  16. Ok, so here we have a provisional sample of the upcoming Spalding Autumn Show model. There will be a few changes on the final version as we have found a few issues with the sample. Enjoy
  17. I am pleased to say that you can place an order for this book with FTF. The item has been added to our FTF online shop. I am currently in the process of reviewing the publication for Model Farmer Magazine and at this stage it gets a firm thumbs up from me. Lots of information, facts and figures, images etc..
  18. Wow Pete, that looks great! We should get Bill Walters to have a look at it, I am sure he would be impressed and might sign you up!
  19. They think it is just a bad strain. Unusual however as the foot went over forwards, rather than twisting.
  20. I Fell badly on my ankle last night playing football. Visit to hospital this morning to get it looked at and now on crutches for a few days.
  21. The FTF allocation for this model is now provisionally sold out. Those who ordered the model will see an order in their FTF shop accounts (if you have one) around the start of the September. If you do not have one then we will email you an invoice. The sample model will be shown next week, just waiting on the delivery from Siku.
  22. It came with this one too, but the box this time has the card insert in the back right area of the box.
  23. As far as I am aware, its not the ebay one. One former owner since new I think. Looking at the packaging, the item could be a factory mis-match since all other farm land rovers seem to be in the different box variation. This one seems to be in the common Zoo and Military box. Sorry you edited your post before I submitted this
