  1. We will only have the red from DBP i'm afraid Sean. Which technically will be yellow.
  2. I am pleased to confirm now that there will be samples of the forthcoming RC2 intermediary limited editions (for FTF) at Spalding. What I plan to do is gather feedback on them at Spalding, submit any necessary changes to RC2 and then begin taking orders once delivery is signed off and confirmed. Delivery is being geared towards May / June. There will be a few items on show, of which 2 we will be taking forward as the final models, so I value everyone's imput on what we have on show, as this will have some bearing on what are the final model(s).
  3. I remember a number of years ago when there was the country wide slaughter of livestock (Foot and Mouth?) They put down a field of sheep near us using guns. They did close the road mind you, since all of our school buses were diverted. I do recall one of the guys there commenting that it was the most unsavoury thing he had seen. The typical slaughterhouse calm was thrown out the window of course, with the animals panicing. So I think as far as a single or small group of animals are concerned, and done in the correct manner, a gun may be fine. A large group though I don't think is suited to this method. No doubt it comes down to costs though?
  4. Brilliant Mark. Found that very interesting. Looks a damn site more fun than when I walked around the peugeot car plant Did they give any inclincation as to how many challengers / iseki models that produce? Ratio to the standard red massey etc?

    Ford 333

Nice picture Walter! It did look very similar to that but had FORD in black as a decal. It also had the standard cab too.

    Ford 333

I think the 555 was an American tractor. I have seen some literature on ebay showing a 555 with backhoe loader. Would be interesting to see if the 5000 in the UK / Europe was also 555, as I have seen a Ford 5000 industrial, but decals were missing.

    Ford 333

Interesting picture that. In my research for a prospective FTF model, I have found several Ford Highway models that I previously thought did not exist. The 333 seems to be the most prominent though.
  8. I had heard that there was a golden sprayer on the horizon from RC2. Some were supposed to be made available at an upcoming show? JD Expo in Tenerife? Either way, some will find their way on to eBay I should think.
  9. You reckon you could take that to town then Sean? Challenge time perhaps!
  10. I think the grill is: 4 6" Sausages Steak Gammon Lamb 2 Beef Burgers 4 eggs Liver Blackpudding (if requested) Pinapple - The yellow thing. I think it is only classed as a clearance if the ancillary dishes are eaten too. Its located in a little village called Gosberton Risegate - Blink and you miss it. I think I know where I might be going this weekend, seeing that has brought back memories!
  11. Ah I knew I had pictures on my laptop somewhere. A little enticement for the Autumn show! This was from the place that does the fairly large grills. Image 1 - The Steak - Aptly titled I think. I had this last time Image 2 - The Hungry Mans. Ive tried it once - All locally sourced meat too. A joy to behold!
  12. I wanted option 4, but I will go option 2. "sigh" I will have to take an elite FTF Task force for the hungry mans grill next time Unless anyone is available on the Friday
  13. It is looking like option 2 then thus far. As far as grub is concerned, its commercial pub food so you will probably be able to guess what it will be like. Keep the responses coming so I have as good an idea as possible as to where we want to go.
  14. It would not surprise me. It is certainly one of the best for good ale in the area. There is a similar pub "The duke of york" on the opposide side on the edge of town. It has everards ales, plus "The hungry mans" mixed grill. That dish has to be seen, to be believed!
  15. Its not too bad. Have played pool their a few times, but was being refurbished last time I was there.
  16. Right...to save confusion. I have locked the FTF Stand topic as it was only really to announce our plans for the day. Concerning Saturday evening... If we have the numbers which it looks like we do...I can begin the formal arrangements this week. I would appreciate if we could gather feedback on the options below though before I go ahead with bookings etc.. Option 1 No formal booking - Just gather at the pub next door to the travelodge when you are ready / You can order food for yourselves if you want feeding! They stop serving around 7ish?? / last orders at 10.30??(will confirm this week) The Gardener's Arms is the pub next door and although its convenient - Its not the greatest pub in spalding (technically its a poorer quality, yet more expensive version of wetherspoons) Option 2 As above but I will book some space in the pub for a approx number - for everyone to eat and drink. Option 3 Venture into Spalding Town - Some nice Chinese / Curry restaurants then pub afterwards or home for the early nighters. Option 4 If you want good honest British food, ale / cider. There is an excellent pub on the outskirts of Spalding (Cowbit - Ye Old Dun Cow). Taxis can easily be arranged if this suits. Oh and this place does a superb set of mixed grills The safari mixed grill - Zebra, Antelope, Crocodile plus many other (sustainable) exotic creatures! The dunne's mixed grill - If you finish it, you eat free Plus many very nice vegetarian options! If everyone planning to gather on the Saturday evening could indicate their preferences, I can work around that. Thanks
  17. FTF will be in our usual place, which for anyone new is located just inside the small hall on the right hand side.
  18. Well plans are well underway in terms of the FTF stand at Spalding in April. Early indications are that it will be the largest Spalding show yet, and definitely FTF's largest gathering In terms of the FTF stand display, we are planning a slightly different approach this time.... We hope to have two sections: a Machinery dealership, courtesy of Graham, on one side of the road.....(OEM TBA! ) and then a Farming in Action section, the other side. At our dealership, we will have plenty of FTF member models for all to see, accompanied by Graham's magnificent building, plus a few extra pieces here and there. The other side is where we have our different approach.... We will have some purpose built fields with tractors / implements as expected, but this time, the models will be all Radio Controlled, so if it takes your fancy, you can do some DIY Farming Of course, I am planning this around the kids attending the show having something to play with, but any FTF model farmer is welcome Siku are very kindly lending their RC range for the display, and we hope to have the Britains RC John Deere in attendance too. On top of the display, we have some very important model previews, our raffle, and famous cakes / biscuits / jaffa cakes. Not forgetting the FTF Scratch Custom Competition. Anyone wanting to lend their models for our tractor dealership (does not have to be OEM specific) are very welcome too. If you have a RC 1/32 model, you are also welcome to bring it along! I will be talking to the pub next to the Spalding travelodge, with regards to the evening before the show, but I encourage as many to get down as possible! I am sure it will be an excellent evening! On the day, you are all very welcome to leave your shopping with us while you shop for more, and of course, come and say hello. If you want to try your hand at meeting and greeting fellow FTF'ers, you are also very welcome! Should be an excellent weekend, so hope to see as many of you as possible!

    MF 7580

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but in this instance, the model is yet to be unveiled so I think the debate should resume once an image is here. I am confident tho that it will be a real hit, as its based on the same detail as the CNH models.

I havnt seen one either. Im working on it though!
  21. It depends what day your heading to Spalding Peter. There are regular trains from Stanstead airport to Peterborough, and then a train from Peterborough to Lincoln / Sleaford, calling at Spalding. This does not run Sundays though.
  22. Just a little note that the content listed in that image preview is not real and is for preview purposes only
  23. Sorry Mike, the site is not quite finished yet. As soon as it is, you will be taken to the homepage and will not need to log in.
  24. I am pleased to announce that there will soon be a new website from DBP. I have been working with Dave to get a new site online and ultimately it will be quick and easy for him to keep everyone updated with whats going on in the world of DBP models! I hope to complete its initial development within the next few weeks. www.dbpmodels.com
  25. Im not sure. I think MF are particularly bad at styling changes so we will have to see.
