A recent purchase, but noticed the canopy appears to be rather unusual. I dont think I have seen a cream version. Does anyone know if this was a common variation?

I dont think they do. I guess the doe show models have established a good relationship between Accurate Diecast and Doe. Since the show models have generally sold so well, I suppose they feel they can do further items too.

Its an unusual item in that the ebay price is normally lower than the price you will pay at a toyfair or auction. I have seen a few priced at around £700/800, and seen one sell for over £1000 at an auction!

Its peterborough show ground mike. I agree, the chainsaws were very interesting. A substantial collection I am sure.

I am sure several members managed to visit the show over the weekend, but for those who didn't, here are just a few images of the show. There was an impressive steam contingent present

These two seem feature at auctions from time time, but have yet to see duplicates of the ones posted previously. We have had a look at them and they do not appear repainted.

Thought I would kick start this topic. Dad and I are starting to gather a nice collection of these lorries now. Not sure if they can be classed as farm, builder, or military lorries! Unusual colour variations nonetheless.
