  1. This is a close up of the chain which links the 2 pick up arms together. As the plough arm picks up one of the press arms it pulss round from beside the press to the front of it. As this happens this chain drags the other arm round from 90 degrees to the press to the side ready to be picked up at the other end of the field.
  2. Finally got round to taking some pictures of our furrow press this week, the press is 96 inches wide and goes with our 6 furrow Lemken Euro 8 plough. First pic shows the press with arms and transport headstock
  3. Nice to see you're benefiting from the craze, no wonder you're so happy! Could get 2 of them for that! :D
  4. Check this one out, its amazing what some people will pay just to be one of the first to have a new release :o http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NIB-BRITAINS-ERTL-MASSEY-FERGUSON-1505-1-32-SCALE_W0QQitemZ7033436845QQcategoryZ117196QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  5. I've only ever seen them at a demonstration as well, think they may still be fairly new out so have yet to catch on, no doubt have a big price tag to match the drill though
  6. Don't forget the cloud of steam Sean as yet another JQ blows the head gasket and cylinder head :D

    Nice paint job!

Funnily enough the baler is the right colour, just the tractor that isn't
  8. The fact that Phill may have to move closer to me to get a summer job :D
  9. Nice pics Mart, makes our pump look like the piece of crap that we all know it is. It's only half the size of that one and has had half the bits nicked off it over winter
  10. Thats the best way to operate a telehandler Marky, when we load our grain up ours is always beeping at us, no point in taking half loads. I've had the back wheels waving 4 feet in the air several times on ours :D
  11. Blimey thats a tidy 4610 for it's age! A credit to its former owner for certain, they must have polished it every week and kept it indoors all the time. I take it that its been a local tractor all its life then has it Cameron? Should give you years of reliable service if you look after it well
  12. Another great pic there Luke, nice threatening sky in the background again
  13. Bl00dy football, can't see the attraction of a load of men kicking a bag of wind around some grass : :D :D
  14. I think he's referring more to Seans keyboard spelling skills there than what it means Ben :D :D :D
  15. that reminds me of my school report cards :D :D
  16. Yes they also make fork trucks, don't know if they are badge engineered for CAT though
  17. to start with you need to re-size the images so they are below 115kb, once you have done this click on the additional options tab in the post reply window. Click where it says browse and find the appropriate file on your computer, select it then click on post and you should then have a pic on here. Hope that's of some help
  18. Have you tried the Toyota trucks Marky, my late father used to sell them alongside Sanderson's and they always looked like a good machine to me, they used to sell several of them
  19. i use mine for carrying the girlfriend when she's getting fed up not seeing me due to work, all helps the day go by :D
  20. Good pics Luke, thought i'd be patient before posting but as i've been rumbled i'll say it now :D :D
  21. I'm firm but polite when i catch the bird watchers doing that sort of thing- i just tell them that the if gamekeeper doesn't know they are there and takes a shot at something over the hedge it could get messy, they get the message :D
  22. Damned pram wheels look awful, at least yours is a small Renault, our 816 looks even worse. I'll post some pics as soon as we have changed them over
  23. Orange tractor would be a Renault Ceres 95x. Nice pics

    new tractor

Very nice, you just gotta love those old 6 cylinder JD's, a pleasure to drive, better than some newer tractors. You should be pleased with your purchase, hope it gives you loads of hours of reliable service
  25. I think that may be nearer the truth there, i had a job stopping the Ford 8630 and lorry convo when it weighed in at 29180kg, moving it not a problem but stopping it was another matter :D
