Valley Axe Man replied to Valley Axe Man's topic in Share Your Collection
Cheers for your comments Martin and Chris Keep adding bits now and again but not set to and built anything for my own collection for a good while, but I've a few ideas and had a bit of useful info of Paul (Super6) so maybe this summer i'll get something built your right though Martin...... at 16th they do take up a hell of a lot of room Glad the harrows take you back to days gone by Chris, memories is one thing that no-one can take away from you -

Valley Axeman's 1/16th collection

....And a Browns Yard Scraper..... "Where there's muck there's money" Along with a set of trailed ZigZag harrows, Unknown OEM but finished in Parmiter blue, 3 section medium chip.... Other news from the collection is that a couple more items have head up the M6 and up to the Scottish Borders, to join David's growing collection of "blues" in the shape of a spare County 754, and a couple of implements including the John Deere conventional baler and Rob Agri-modelz Neesham's 56 bale carrier..... After David's first display at Gretna he must have got the exhibiting bug or planning a scene- 733 replies

Liking both the model and your real deal Martin when you get the model finished you'll have to get a pic of them together -

Cheers John and David There still a few finishing off bits to do yet but getting there I'll have to try and get pics of the real 7000 at one of our local shows this year, but glad it took your fancy David..... I think I know someone that already has plans for a 32nd version -

Cheers Iain and Sean, Aye there some clamps to make yet, but with time getting closer to the show and deadline for david they might end up being a "Stocks" type dual with the long clamp bolts rather than the fiddly 3 legged centre handle type..... Look forward to seeing your 32nd sized project Sean -

A couple of "Blues" in 16th scale for Big David at the Gretna show in three weeks time, the cabbed pre-force as he's ordered this years Border Fine Arts tractor and wanted a 16th version to go with it, so altered the cab a little to the non- deluxe version, and a set of duals that still need a bit of work to finish on a force 5000 along with slightly larger 7000 fronts..... Plus I couldn't resist building a cabless 7000,so copied the one that's here in the Valley as one lives not far from Me and John (JMD) and is a regular at our local shows, owned by Stuart Margison and his Dad amongst a set of Ford Forces, an odd pre-force as well as a couple of Standard Fordsons and a E27n -

Be nice to see the AP cabbed 6610 take shape Martin The AP been a missed opportunity so far by the mainstream makers and it one that I'm sure would have sold by the container load -

Just a little update to the collection now we've started another year, along with it being almost two years since I started sharing my collection in this thread...but who knows what addition's will be added in this next 12 months?? No new additions to report since my last update with my purchases from Penrith but a couple of tractors have been moved on out of the Valley to find new homes in other collections, both of my Ford 4000's now live near the Scottish Borders in Cumbria and the 4600 (along with a Doe 150) have ventured across the North Sea to find a new home in Holland, (Thanks Mike) And I know both David and Jack will give all four tractors a reet good home ..... but work already started on a replacement 4000 and 4600, along with other builds that seem to have come to a standstill over the past few months Good News is that during a bit of a sort through I have now found my silver edition UH Power Major that I'd thought I'd lost along with the standard version of the UH blue grey Super Major, pics to be added shortly at next update..... but still seem to have other tractors that are misplaced..... oh well.... I think they'll turn up someday when I least expect it -

Something niggled me about that green rake Bill........ After a quick look back through some old Farm and Site mags I found this ...... looks as though from the article in the mag the Green Acrobat is original and rare, dated about 1978?? Looks like you might have something rare there Tractorman -
